I always order from Papa Johns because I am a working mother and wife who has a very popular toddler with tons of play dates and visitors especially on the weekends. This afternoon, the moms in my building were relieved that I was off from work (I normally work 7am-3pm, but today, I was scheduled for the 3pm-11pm shift to help out a friend this holiday weekend) and, as they very well know, my place is the toddler-party-zone. I placed my regular order and had my husband pick it up. Everything was normal until about two hours into my work shift when I started getting calls from mothers demanding to know what I fed their children as they were all vomiting. I then received a frantic call from my husband (who had eaten a slice after I left for work) who was feeling ill himself but was more concerned that he would have to take our son to the ER for dehydration as he, too, was vomiting. I told my husband to take our son to the ER to make sure his electrolytes were not thrown off as a precaution and spent an hour on the phone with two very distraught mothers who I advised to take their children to the ER as well. As you can imagine, this was taking away from my ability to work effectively and my supervisor (who overheard all the hoopla) suggested that I leave and go take care of things at home. I arrived home not a moment too soon to find my son pale and visibly ill and my husband completely incapacitated and unable to care for our son because my husband was slumped over the toilet crying and puking his guts out regretting having had a slice of the pizza that was ordered. A horrible end to what should have been a normal weekend. Do NOT eat from here! They obvious don’t wash their hands when they’re done wiping their butts in the bathroom— so only God knows what “extra toppings” are on...
Read moreThis Papa John's location on Atlantic Blvd is the WORST! I do not blame the staff. Delivery drivers are always courteous. My issue is with the managers. The manager working this evening, for example, is named Keith. If there are issues with the order or there are missing items, it is the manager's responsibility to get on the phone with the customer who calls to speak with them. Instead, "Keith" refused to get on the phone and instead spoke through his employee (I could hear the manager in the background). We order very frequently from Papa John's. Sometimes even several times per week. The issue this evening was with the drinks. If the store is out of an item, common sense would be to call the customer to inform them. The driver was kind enough to purchase a bottle from the store out of his own pocket (he did not realize we ordered more than 1 soda, but it was not his responsibility to do that in the first place). On another occasion, we had 4 sauce cups thrown into the same box with the pizza. The cups were turned upside down and pressed into the cheese. We called to complain and advised that this was not sanitary. The manager (a woman) was very rude saying "well what do you want me to do. The order is right so you got what you paid for." Again we reiterated that shoving sauces on top of the pizza is not sanitary. Her response was "Well, agree to disagree" then hung up the phone. This location needs a retraining for their MANAGERS. The staff is great, but if you continue to hire individuals who don't know how to lead, the staff will follow. This is completely...
Read moreOmg, this will be my only papa John's I go to... like from the way the phone was answered, to the customer care/service, to the promptness. Let's 1st start with the fact that pizza chains are considered fast food so you don't expect to be treated and greeted with kindness and concern. At least in my opinion amd experience. But Keyvn(sorry if I spelled it wrong) was understanding to my situation and He was able to resolve it for me. I basically placed the order online and it didn't give you the option to add toppings on my specific pizza. So when I called the store he was more than happy to adjust it and it was ready for pick up when I arrived. I'm not the one to leave long reviews but when something's great and the service is just as good I'm happy. Simple. This is the only papa John's I'll be going to Considering I went to one last week and the only thing good about the place was the pizza. But I'm the type of person I come for service as well. You guys keep up the great work And I will be back. Thank you so much...
