4/12/25-Store Experience I will never shop this location again. This morning after shopping at Marshal’s I visited this store just to see if they had any new items to purchase. I entered with my Marshall’s bag tied in two knots and folded. As I always do when entering the store. Any other day there is no issue. If the store policy has changed with regards to medium bags I understand then it’s a loss prevention strategy.Great! However please note that this isn’t my first entering this store with a bag and on previous occasions asking if I needed to leave bag at counter to which the previous replies have always been “no”. My issue with my experience this morning is that its not what you say it’s how you say it. So I entered the store and as the guy was helping customers he turned to me and yelled aggressively,”No!that bag is too big to walk around the store!..”The customers appeared confused and so was I. Why was the worker using so much aggression.I immediately put cart down and exited the store. What was he implying by bag? If there is a store policy of no bags, 5below should train staff on greeting customers and saying,” I’m sorry but mam/sir you have to leave your bag upfront due to store policy.” That’s it. There’s no need to be rude or cause a scene in front of other customers.Customer service training needed. That associate said she needs a receipt I advise I don’t have a receipt and I just want to exchange it. She advised she will need to ask her manager. The manager came and asked for a receipt as stated I don’t have one. His response well I can’t help you if you don’t have a receipt I asked for an exchange?? He said no I need a receipt if you have one I can help you then walked away. Will never visit this location again. Read moreThis was the worst experience I have ever had my children and their father went to get some things and he spent almost $80 on kids toys the cashier rung up one item 2 times and we called to get the problem resolved but the manager that was on duty on September 12,2023 was completely disrespectful and told my kids father there is nothing we could do and after looking up the receipt the manager blatantly talked over us and would not let us explain as to where the item was located on the receipt and just kept talking over us we eventually had to hang up because he would not allow us to speak as if he was trying to cover something up this store will never get another...
