Crafty Crab Margate — Restaurant in Margate

We had a larger party. Went last night. It was very quiet in the restaurant with only a few other tables occupied. The service was very poor. Got appetizers in spurts. Didn’t ask till the end if we wanted drink refills. We ordered a few drink refills and did not get them and we decided to leave instead. I ordered raw oysters and they were not on the half shell and they brought them out saying they did not have saltines for them. We sent them back. Did not give us crab crackers till the end when we asked for them. The food was good but if we had a waitress that was good it could have been a great experience. There was just no reason for poor service. And of course since our party was large they tacked on 18% gratuity. We...

The food was just okay. The shrimp was good but the fried catfish was hard. The waitress brought me one cup of ketchup when I ordered fries and sweet potato fries. When I asked for more ketchup, she informed me that I already had ketchup. I took most of the food home and asked for containers. She bought two big and two small containers for me and my bestie. But my food wouldn’t have fit in the one large. I used both of them, as my friend only needed a small one. She asked him if he needed a large container for the six shrimp he had. She should have assessed that when she brought over those small containers. I’ve had better service/food at the other locations I visited. Won’t be back...

I went for lunch with my wife and daughter not long after they opened and they weren't busy so I figured it'll be fast service. Boy was I wrong. They got the order wrong. Missed an item from the order which took them 30mins to get to me, which was close to when we were getting the check. Ordered fries for my daughter and the amount of time it took them, you could have sworn they went and dug out the potatoes, cleaned and cut them to cook them how long they took to get them to us. Again, I could count on one hand how many people were actually in the place at the time so there was no reason why things went that way. Haven't been back since and...
