First time to this location. When I walked in, first thing I noticed is no carts, second thing I noticed was to the store looked dingy. I wandered around looking for the items I needed, once I found one of the items I asked for help, because I only saw display and not the actual product that was for sale. I found someone to help, but they were not friendly. She did walk back there with me, and showed me the item. Upon asking about another item, she just mumbled something and kept going. The item was very heavy, hence, why I noticed no carts right a way. I pushed item to front of store, where I saw an employee with a cart. I asked him where I could find one. He was the best thing about my experience. He told me carts are located outside, but gave me the one he had and placed item in buggy and offered to help take it to my car(after leaving store I saw random carts in various places) At check out, the lady was fairly courteous, but there was another employee, who I assume was a break, as she is walking to register, her phone in hand with music blaring, she talks to the lady checking me out and it was a very inappropriate conversation to have in front of a customer. Once the distracting employee walked outside, I told the lady I had a coupon for 20% off. She scanned it, but it didn't take. She said the item wasn't eligible, "probably", however, the coupon specifically stated carts, and that is exactly what I was purchasing. The overall experience was not good and I didn't want to be in that store a second longer. Because of this, when she scanned coupon and it didn't work I didn't even bother asking her to try again or to get a manager or someone else who knew how to add it. I went to that store specifically for the 20% off and now wish I just walked out, without buying it. I would not recommend this place, unless you are on a very tight budget and have no other options. I am in customer service and I am not the type to only leave bad reviews. I love leaving positive experiences too, because I know how important it is. Most people only take the time to leave reviews when they have a bad experience. This was truly a...

I was going to give this store "1 Star" but because the new manager at the Margate location (her name is Priscilla) stepped in to help me when her female cashier was extremely rude to me about handling a refund... and for no reason. Priscilla was nearby to her the cashier and she was aware of the poor customer service I received from that cashier. She apologized to me for the cashier's unprofessional behavior. Priscilla was professional and treated me with respect.
A week prior, I bought a bicycle carrier that goes into my trailer hitch and also a locking mechanism for it. I solicited the help of one of their male employees as 3 of 3 boxes had been opened and re-taped, so I wanted to ensure that all the parts were there. I also asked him to select the correct "locking mechanism" that I would need to secure the rack. He selected one and placed it into my cart.
Unfortunately, after I assembled the bicycle rack and was ready to use the locking mechanism, I discovered it was too small and I would not be able to use it. It was still in it's original packaging, un-opened and I provided my receipt along with my credit card that it was charged on plus my driver's license. The cashier "demanded" that I provide my telephone number, but I refused because (#1) I do not give out my phone number and (#2) it was totally unnecessary as I provided everything that was used to make the sale, so there was no reason to provide that also. I told the cashier exactly that and she blew up throwing her hands into the air and mumbled some things as she walked away from the cash register area. That's when Priscilla (being nearby) got involved.
If anyone should have been unhappy, it should have been me because their employee picked out the wrong locking mechanism, causing me to have to make an unnecessary trip to return it - so I was the one that was inconvenienced... NOT the cashier... but unfortunately I was also the one receiving the cashier's unpleasant, unprofessional and...
