To reply to your response- if you reviewed the call, your main concern after that should not be “we offered a replacement”. I’d love for you to include what your employee said before, during AND after offering a replacement. Through the offer, she still called us liars. This goes to show that you as an owner also lack accountability. If there was a way to upload the recording, I’d be glad.
We recently ordered over $50 worth of food and we enjoyed every bit of it until we got to the fries. The fries were completely undercooked, which was a shock to us because we’ve never had this happen from them.
I called them to let them know, the owner I believe is the man, handed the phone over to the older lady who takes orders at the till. I let her know that our fries were undercooked. Instantly, she cut me off and said “No our fries are crispy, so that’s not true.” (It was crispy on the outside, uncooked inside).
The attitude completely shocked me. I continued stating my experience and she continued to speak over me, denying they’re undercooked, and saying no one has complained about the food. My mother then told her that nobody is perfect, they made a simple mistake, and we are calling as customers to give feedback. She started shouting at my mother and calling us liars.
She was yelling on the phone saying “this doesn’t have anything to do with customer service because we don’t have problems with our food, and everybody has the same batch of fries. You can come and get new ones but I don’t believe what you’re saying.” When I asked to speak to the man who I believe is the owner, she didn’t allow me to.
There are negative reviews online that didn’t deter us, even though there were some regarding her. One that was very recent regarding her ‘unwelcoming’ attitude, which is very accurate with the experiences some have had with her. But I always brushed it to the side.
Common courtesy is to apologize for the mistake, but she said they don’t make mistakes.
I have never ever experienced this type of rudeness, unprofessionalism, and lack of accountability from an establishment. I am honestly so upset because we’ve loved their food and I’ve referred a lot of people to them.

Read moreWe ate at Gyro Grill at about 7:30 p.m. on a Thursday evening. We were able to walk right up to the register and order our food, which we ordered to-go. We ordered a #2 which is the Chicken Shawerma Wrap and a #7 which is the Chicken Shawerma Plate. The difference between the two is that on the plate, there is more of the chicken, the pita bread is separate from the fillings, and it also includes rice, salad and garlic sauce. The total was $24.23. We took a seat in the lobby while the gentleman at the grill prepared our food for us. A Gyro restaurant is different from other strip mall-type restaurants, as they have a stack of meat on a giant skewer slowly rotating on a vertical rotisserie. They carve the outermost meat as it spins by and then use that for the meat in the pita bread or meal. Our food was prepared fresh and for that, it took a little time to prepare which we were perfectly fine with. We took our food home with us and it was still hot, fresh and delicious. The Shawerma Plate had way more food than I could finish, but it was a very nice meal. I’ve previously ordered just the Chicken Shawerma Wrap and gotten the combo meal which is any wrap and add fries, Hummus or Salad plus a medium drink. I think I like that with the fries better than what comes...
Read moreWow. Let me first start off with the fact that I NEVER write reviews. But as I am standing in here waiting for my food, I felt the urge to give this place review. I walked in and imidiately the place gave off a warm vibe. There was a small rush, nothing too big though. I saw the women at the register smile and greet every single persom who walked up. It made me feel warm and happy inside seeing this. Her customer service was amazing, so positive and kind. Once I got up to the register, she said hold on one moment, with a big smile on her face. She was in the middle of helping another customers order. As she said that, one of the guys from the side (cook?) came forward to the register and says "i can help you!" again, with a big smile, so quick and caring of the customers waiting. I'm surprised at customer service, because now a days there isnt much. This place is filled with HOSPITALITY!!!! I never tip walk in places, but today, I TIPPED them. This small, locally owned greek place, has it all. ALSO, on a side note, their food is AMAZING....As I'm enjoying it right now. Love that I love the food, love the employees and I can be supporting a local business in the mean time. Thank...
