CAME HERE WITH MY FAMILY TO ORDER OUR DINNER, THIS IS MY SECOND TIME EVER COMING HERE AND THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I HAVE ORDERED FOOD AND WAITED IN THERE DRIVE THRU AND LEFT WITH NO FOOD. ORDED 3 MEALS INCLUDING A FAMILY PACK MEAL. WE RECEIVED A COUPON IN THE MAIL FOR A FREE WHOPPER. I ASKED TO USE IT AND FELICIA WHO WAS TAKING MY ORDER WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND KEPT CUTTING ME OFF, AND SAYING WE CAN NOT USE WHEN WE LITERALLY JUST ORDERED ALMOST $30 IN FOOD INCLUDING OTHER WHOPPER MEALS. I TOLD HER AT THE WINDOW JUST CANCEL MY ORDER WE WILL GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. WE DO NOT DESERVE TO BE TALKED TO WITH ATTITUDE BECAUSE WE CAME TO YOUR ESTABLISHMENT AND DECIDED TO USE COUPONS YOUR COMPANY SENT US TO GENERATE BUSINESS. THEN DAMIEN THE MANAGER CAME TO WINDOW AND SAID WHATS THE PROBLEM. I TOLD THE MANAGER WHAT HAPPENED AND I SAID I JUST WANT TO CORPORATE NUMBER TO MAKE A COMPLAINT. HE GAVE ME SOMEONES CELL PHONE NUMBER AND INSTEAD OF CORRECTING THE SITUATION OR EVEN A EXPLANATION HE JUST SHUT THE WINDOW. I UNDER STAND ITS A FAST FOOD PLACE, BUT ITS A BUSINESS THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICED BASED AND THESE PEOPLE HAVE NONE. THEY ARE RUDE AND NOT CAPABLE OF DOING THERE JOB TO A PROFESSIONAL STANDARD. INSTEAD THEY WANT TO THROW OUT A $30 ORDER THAT IS ALREADY MADE, ARGUE WITH A CUSTOMER FOR 15MINUTES IN THE DRIVE THRU INSTEAD OF MAKING THE SALE AND HONORING YOUR COMPANIES COUPON. GOOD JOB WASTING YOUR EMPLOYERS MONEY BY THROWING THAT ORDER AWAY AND NOT CORRECTING THE SITUATION AND TAKING A PAYMENT, OVER A $.60cent SANDWHICH. IF THESE PEOPLE WERE THE OWNER IT WOULD OF BEEN HANDLED DIFFERENT BECAUSE THEY WOULDNT THROW THERE MONEY AWAY AND NOT TAKE CARE OF THERE CUSTOMER, THIS IS DONE BECAUSE THEY GET PAID HOURLY EITHER WAY AND COULD CARELESS ABOUT TAKING CARE OF THERE CUSTOMERS AND MAKING THERE ESTABLISHMENT MONEY WITH RETURNING CUSTOMERS. AND BELIEVE ME THE OTHER TIME I LEFT WITH NO FOOD WAS BECAUSE I FORGOT TO TELL THEM NO PICKELS WHEN I ORDERED THROUGH THE DRIVE THRU AND TOLD THEM AT THE WINDOW AND SOME FAT GUY WITH A BEARD STARTED YELLING AND THREW SOMETHING SO I LEFT. Read moreAwful. Horrendous incompetence. Burger King has always been my favorite fast food place. I was so excited when one was finally built in Maricopa. Unfortunately the Burger King on John Wayne is absolutely horrible and I blame the staff & the way it is run 100%.
You will wait an exceptionally long time in line, for over priced food that is not even hot, only to look in the bag and see the staff gave you the wrong order with no sign of any condiments that you requested for more than once:
Food is rarely hot, there are TWO drive-thru lanes with only ONE taking orders at a time, the wait is longer than any other fast food place even when you are next in line, staff can be seen standing around talking while customers are filling up lines not getting service, and above all THEY JUST CAN NOT GET YOUR ORDER CORRECT.
I am an extraordinarily chill person, the last to ever complain/make an issue & I have unbelievable sympathy for the service industry but OMG
I've been there 4 times in the past 6 weeks (trying to give this place another chance after 3 years of not going after so much terrible service)
They handed me someone else's order (even after I repeated to the worker behind the counter exactly what I ordered) took them 3 minutes of me waving to the window until they realized & gave me my correct order (which was cold).
I asked the employee (who looked half asleep because at this place all of the workers couldn't care less) for salt & bbq but never got it (i rarely do & when they actually do remember they'll throw sugar or ketchup in the bag instead)
I have had pretty much this exact same experience EVERY SINGLE TIME I attempt to get food here. (And all I ever order is a classic cheeseburger, fries, & shake)

Read moreUpdate 3/1/25: I ordered three impossible Whoppers and a medium fry and I got home and I only had two burgers in the bag. Now I'm here in the Drive-Thru again to get the third burger that I paid for and didn't receive and I'm looking at the sign on this door that is wide open and it clearly says "this door must remain closed at all times" Probably so flies. Don't get in there and get on the food or something. I have no idea but clearly they're having some struggles at this particular location. The previous sentences were written while I was waiting in the Drive-Thru. I have now made it to the window and I clarified for the gal. I would like to have an impossible Whopper with no onions and no ketchup and add cheese. She said okay and she went back there. Talked to people who are making it comes back with my burger. I open it up and I look at it before I drive away and I there's onions on the burger for crying out loud. Is it so difficult? I don't understand why I'm having difficulties here. And then she accuses me of making it difficult saying the burger that I left behind only had pickles and mayo on it. Well I don't know what it had on it cuz I didn't get that burger. I re-clarified thanks so much!
A week ago I made an order on their app. One of the items was for an Oreo milkshake and then upon arrival they said that their machine was down and they couldn't make milkshakes.
