I came from a small town in Washington that didn't offer any food delivery services, and certainly no UberEats or DoorDash. So, getting a pizza delivered to our doorstep is exciting for us! That being said, I watched the tracker app and waited for it to change from "quality check" to "on its way" for 22 minutes. It took longer to check it than it did to cook! I thought maybe it came out burnt or something and the QA tech sent the order back through. 🤷🏽♀️After some time, I called in to inquire what was taking so long, and Kevin explained what happened (an unfortunate experience by one of his drivers). He apologized, agreed to make it right if our food was not to our satisfaction, and assured us it was on its way. Well, 15 minutes later, it showed up. Still warm. The pizza was was absolutely disgusting to me. It was extremely dry and tasted like the bacon was grey before it was cooked, if you know what I mean. My husband didn't mind his breadbowl, but he also said it was dry. So, maybe more sauce next time. 🤷🏽♀️BUT, the cheesy bread was delicious!! The 4-star review is not for the pizza. Yes, it was so gross, I had to spit it out. It tasted spoiled. No, the 4-stars was for the superior customer service and compassion received by both Kevin and our delivery driver. Most people in Arizona are nothing like the people in Washington. Everyone's in a rush and nobody smiles or seems to care. This was a different experience. They even followed up with a "make it right" coupon in my email. I didn't even call back to report the pizza. I left it alone because my cheesy bread was fantastic, so I was happy. Read moreWell I have never been more disappointed with the customer service of this establishment in Maricopa then I was yesterday ( although there service and pizza has always been sub par)this one took the cake by any standard. I called because January 19th I ordered a 35 dollars order that was partially incorrect and on that say the employee informed me that they will give me a credit to my phone number I accepted that felt no need to report any further. I call yesterday and was informed they do not do credits and was accused of lying. By the owner manager Gary. (Who may I add is not a good example to his employees or our fine community )He first they have me on hold 20 min. And I had to call back. Only to have him finally get on the phone and( All with attitude) advise me not to order the pizza as if that is not what they do (make pizzas )then after I say I still want the pizza and begin to give him the order he stops me to tell me he is not making the pizza and hangs up on me. The person I am I went to the corporate office and filed a complaint because other members in the community have had similar experiences . So now corporate will be taking care of it. But, from there the delivery driver drove right by neighborhood and went all the way past Walmart. By the time he finished that delivery it took him another 10 minutes to get back to my house. So I called the store to find out what the deal was and after waiting over 5 minutes to talk to the "manager" said his name was Perry he basically said nothing he could do. He was very condescending asking me if I knew what an estimate was. To top it off the driver dropped my food at the door and made a mess and just swiped it with his shoe making a bigger mess.
