Absolutely love this place! Tucked away inside the Marietta Food Hall, this BBQ really is a gem. Friendly service. Good portions. Decent prices for the location. I ordered a two meat plate with sliced brisket and pulled pork. I think it comes out to about a pound of meat plus two sides. I really enjoyed the pulled pork the most. Personally, I like a lot of smoke in my BBQ, but this was a good balance between smokey and pork flavor. Plus is was extra tender. The brisket was slightly dry and crumbly, but that may have just been because it was sliced from the point and since that is my least favorite cut, don't take my word on it. Trust your own taste buds. Both meats had wonderfully flavorful bark on them and, honestly, made me want to get a second round. I went with two different sauces; the carolina and the spicy. The carolina paired well with the pork and spicy with the brisket. Both pretty traditional for their respective regions, but excellent, though I'm partial to the carolina style sauce. I had collards and mac & cheese for my sides. The collards were great. Tender, well seasoned. The mac & cheese was absolutely perfect. Plus, the pickles and pickled red onion really helped cut through the fat and smoke of everything. I will definitely be going back soon to fill up on more BBQ! Thanks y'all!

Don’t sell me no light skin ribs. I thought it was official when I saw the light bread, but it wasn’t under the food getting warm and soft like they do in the hood. Great food hall makes you want to try everything I have a smell is great. The brisket was off and flavor and look. The ribs were off in flavor and look. The Brunswick stew was way off and flavor and look. The greens look fine, even though they were cut large, they taste fair. I would not go back or recommend. I believe the lobster from the other restaurant hurt my stomach, but I wouldn’t put it past this or for sure the combination of the two. When I look at other reviews before I write a bad one, I’m trying to see what people think of the food to make sure I am not tripping. I do know some people don’t know what to expect from good barbecue, this ain’t it.

Family dinner for 3 and got the 1/2 pound brisket a side of coleslaw, 1/2 pound chicken and a few smoked wings. The brisket was extremely dry, tough and lacked any seasoning. My uploaded picture will show you what I mean. It has been sitting out or I got served a bad batch. Either way at $13 for half pound this was a waste and mostly inedible. It was probably one of my lowest rated brisket meals ever. The only saving grace was the 1/2 pound chicken and smoked wings. They were well seasoned and juicy (also value for money). Their coleslaw side was on point.

If you’re in North Marietta and craving some good barbecue, Smokehouse Q is a spot you definitely need to check out. It’s located in a Krog Street Market-style setting with a bunch of different restaurants, but this BBQ place easily steals the show.

The moment you walk up, the smell of smoked meat hits you, and that’s when you know you’re about to eat something special. The potato wedges, mac and cheese, and baked beans are easily some of the best sides around, full of flavor and cooked just right.

The Reuben sandwich is the standout for me. It’s great on its own, but when you dip it into their spicy BBQ sauce, it goes to another level. The BBQ sandwich is also really good, tender and packed with that smoky flavor you want from a proper BBQ joint. And the ribs are absolutely amazing juicy, perfectly seasoned, and fall right off the bone. Plus, the prices are very fair for the quality you get.

There’s rarely a long wait, and the food comes out hot and fresh every time. If you’re anywhere near the area, make sure to swing by Smokehouse Q. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back the next day for...

Here’s a bad review you could use for SmokehouseQ:

Terrible Experience - Avoid This Place!

I had an awful experience with SmokehouseQ. I placed and paid for an order, only to be told that the food I ordered was unavailable. When I asked to cancel, they refused to refund my money, claiming there was an error and telling me to contact my bank. I did, but after waiting two days, I was still having issues getting my money back. Instead of resolving the situation quickly, they continued to refuse to give me cash, despite knowing they had already charged me.

Two days later, they finally gave me the food I originally ordered, but there was no apology, no acknowledgement of their mistake—just complete lack of accountability. The customer service was terrible, and the whole ordeal was frustrating. I will not be returning, and I strongly recommend avoiding this place if you value...
