I ordered my pizza at 12:37am, just a little past mightnight on a saturday pm/Sunday am. I placed the order online, and requested be called and not have my doorbell rung and selected a default tip of 15% / $4.88 on a $32.xx purchase and opted pay in cash. An hour and 15 minutes passes and still no pizza. I wait another 10 minutes before finally calling up to check on the status of my order. (At this point I’m starving and am ‘willing’ to just cancel my order and call and order from the other location, if they mishandled my order. (I work in customer service and I hate to be that guy, but it’s getting kinda ridiculous - * I usually order from the higher rated location that’s a mile.5 further from me but decided to give this one a shot - - The other location’s delivery times have averaged probably ~50 mins, in the 4 - 5 times I’ve ordered from them. The first two times I call up I get busy signals. On the third time I get a person to answer, and am asked if I can be placed on hold, which I politely agree. After 5m13s on hold, I decide they must have accidentally forgotten about me, and decide to hang up on call back. (*This is *#%!%# ridiculous at this point). Over the next 15m I call 10-15 times, receiving busy signals every time. I eventually jusy say ‘muck it’ and drive to Walmart to get food to make (being as its too late for anything else and I don’t wanna get stuck paying for 2 orders smh). I get a call from the delivery guy at 2:31am, as I’m stepping into my car leaving the Walmart parking lot, telling me he’s outside my door, (1h54m after I placed my initial order online). I told the young man (the same sounding individual whom placed me on hold earlier) that i was at Walmart and 8 minutes away according to google maps, if he felt like waiting. He semi-reluctantly acknowledged. When I got home I paid with cash, and had to ask for my $.52 change, which, the young man seemed pretty put off about. (yeah, no, you’re lucky I even made the mistake of tipping beforehand when paying with cash because you certainly wouldnt have made out as well otherwise from a 2 hour delivery time.) I couldn’t recommend this particular location. If you have another within delivery range, save yourself the frustration and just order from them. I wish I’d read some other reviews beforehand because it seems like this is an issue a lot of people have...
Read moreI would come here once a week or every other week and order from online with little to no discount just based on me loving the food here and supporting a halal spot for food. Today however was not a great experience. Today instead of ordering online, I called in to see if there were any deals on specialty pizzas. I was told the special on specialty pizza was $12.99 for a large specialty, so I ordered two large specialty supreme pizzas. Once I arrived to pick up my order I was greeted by a man working the front and he was super helpful and kind. Then the owner himself came out when my order was up and moved the guy who was working with me the entire time and began to aggressively use the calculator to come up with my total. My total came up to be much more than I anticipated, so I asked about the specialty pizza price and why I wasn’t given the deal. The owner then said my pizza was more than 3 toppings and I was not eligible for the $12.99 specialty pizza price. Mind you… it’s not the price that’s the problem because I love the food here, so I’ll pay whatever the food is priced at. The point is that there is false advertisement at this establishment. A specialty pizza is a specialty pizza. No matter how many toppings. Now I would understand if the coupon said large 3topping pizza 12.99. That would be advertising what is actually $12.99. I ended up just paying the full price of the pizza even though I was told otherwise . Once I made it to my car I seen the owner come out and I asked him about the sign that advertised $12.99 LARGE SPECIALTY PIZZA. The owner responded by being rude saying he didn’t have time to argue with me and all I was doing was asking a question. The owner then went on to talk down on me as if I was causing a fuss about a small amount of money and again, my point was just to get clarity and make him aware that his advertisement was false. I refused his refund because I believe in karma and reviews. As much as I loved the food here, I will NOT be back. Morally. Professionally. Economically. I was handled wrong as a loyal customer. Just keep in mind that the coupon price is not the price. It’s false advertisement, so come ready with more money than you...
Read moreIf I could rate this a negative 5 I would. Awful service. We are staying at a hotel and found a flyer for this place in our room. Assuming the hotel staff left it there, we ordered. The delivery guy never came inside he just called from his car and we didn't answer. We weren't expecting a call, why would he call a personal phone instead of having the front desk call the room like literally every other pizza delivery service? He drove off with pizza, we called him back and after yelling at us, saying he "waited in lobby for long time" he said he'd be back in 10-15 minutes. We waited and when he finally showed up he just called from outside saying he was "here". We didn't see him and asked him if he'd come inside. He did and then lied to us saying he came inside the first time. We double checked with the front desk, they said no one ever came inside. We tried talking to him about the situation but he just took the money and left quickly. (We did not tip and he wasn't even surprised. Apparently their service is so bad as a standard he wasn't even expecting one in the first place. Immediately after he left, the front desk told us they DO NOT reccomend Night Owl, that they are constantly having issues between this business and their guests. They have no idea how this flyer even ended up in our room. They also mentioned that one of the drivers tried to run over one of their security guards. When we went back to our room we realized we didn't even get everything we ordered. We called the manager to complain and they said they'd send us an extra dessert and talk to the driver. They sent the same driver to deliver the dessert. He texted the personal phone again informing us that the reason he didn't come inside is because he is in fact the driver who has been banned from going inside after a "small argument" with the security guard. Do not make the mistake of ordering from here. The staff and service is awful and the food was...
