My name is Valerie Johnson, I purchased a 2010 Black Lexus RX 350 from Atlanta Auto Brokers in Cobb County , Ga in August of 2024. I was out driving looking for a Black Lexus. I drove onto Atlanta Brokers car lot and saw 2 Rx 350 , I chose the Black One, stating to the salesman , DJ that my daughter has a white and she loves hers. So we walk to the office and he gives me the application, I was approved , for the vehicle, I drove the vehicle off the lot, on the way home their was a noise from the tire , get out and look, the plastic from the bumper was rubbing the tire, I called DJ , took the car in and a man name Christian came out and drove the car and he saw what it was, , I will show pictures later, he pushed the plastic back into the bumper . I thank them. Now on September 10 ,2024 I called DJ back to let him know that the air went out on car, I took the car to a Lexus deal ship about a mile from Atlanta Auto Broker , They did a diagnosis on the car , I was told that the car did not have the original Lexus air compressor part . The car had about $7,000 in repairs that need to be fixed, I’ll send pictures later. Did have some repairs to the vehicle at the Lexus dealership, The service writer their told me that I should let them know the problem with the compressor. I contacted DJ and this is his quote” I believe we did give you an estimate for the AC compressor when you were here last and it was substantially cheaper than what Lexus is quoting.’’ I was so disgusted with the way DJ treated the situation.. Now it’s November and the transmission is slipping. I’m writing this review because I’m an honest person , I just wanted a good car . I paid a good down payment on the vehicle and The people ,DJ and Christian took my good down payment and took advantage of me. I have dealt with this situation because their are other good people in this system of thing that are not dishonest like DJ and Christain. I now know I was sold a lemon and I am extremely disappointed with you DJ , being a black man with lack of accountability and customer service, I expected transparency and support especially so soon after purchasing the vehicle. I would advise other to thoroughly inspect any vehicle and consider other options before buying from Atlanta Auto Brokers in Cobb County Ga. FYI :DJ when I saw the customer before me give you back their keys I should have...
Read moreStay clear!!!! During sale of the car, which had sat in the lot for over 3 years depreciating, the sales associate said that they need me to help make them a profit-even though the car was a bad buy on their part in the first place. There is no obligation from a buyer to help your stop loss on a car. That is just crazy to say. Was sold a Porsche with a check airbag light and I was told explicitly that that item was covered under factory warranty and so I could get it fixed. Come to Porsche and the fix was not under recall and now I am out 2.1 grand. They said that because of the part that was faulty, the airbags wouldn’t have deployed in event of an accident. They sold me a car without working airbags and never disclosed that to me and we even test drove before. After almost dying in a previous car wreck, this is such a huge middle finger to myself and anyone else who test drove this car without knowing the risks. Serious negligence on their part! After an inspection from Porsche, granted I should have done that first, they quoted me $9721 in repairs for a car I just bought. Airbag fault, mandatory replacement of all front suspension linkage, rear shocks and assembly, parking sensors, and a cracked exhaust. Complete lemon. Makai was my sales associate. After all of this I was texted by him on 4 separate occasions asking for a review and so this is mine. I’m sure others have had better experiences but this is not the place to go if you value your safety and finances. Best of luck looking elsewhere.
Edit:
That is incorrect. Y’all were aware of whatever problems came with the car I’m sure. I spoke to a man at the front desk where I was notified of a faulty right a pillar airbag, and I was told that everything was covered under a factory recall, NOT WARRANTY. I would not have driven, much less purchased the vehicle, if I knew that NONE of the airbags worked. Do better. Similar vehicles in much better conditions were priced much lower than your initial asking price. It has nothing to do whether you severely discounted the price. The vehicle sat in your lot for years and as a result it depreciated in value. Was not discounted that’s just how the market works. Don’t say it was a deal because it wasn’t. To anyone who reads, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere

Read moreOverall the sales process was good. I got a good value for my trade in and a good deal on the RAM 1500 I bought. I love the truck although the 2nd day after I bought it, the Check Engine Light came On. I read the code, then deleted it to see if it popped up again. I also called Tristan to let him know about it was well. He advised to bring the truck by and let their mechanic take a look. I did that and everything seemed normal. A few days later the same issue popped up and I immediately brought it back by. After reading the code, the mechanic stated that he would need to look for the part and would contact me. I never heard back from him. I tried to call Tristan again and my call was not returned. After only having the truck a few days and hearing nothing from Atlanta Auto Brokers or their mechanic, I decided to take it to a RAM Dealership to diagnose and fix. They fixed the issue and another one popped up. I have had this truck for 10 days and more than half of that has been spent in the shop. I know Atlanta Auto Brokers is in the business of selling cars and they want to do so with the most profit but in this day, I expect companies I do business with to stand by their products. If I wanted a project vehicle, I would have bought it off Craigslist. I shouldn't need to do thousands of dollars of work to a relatively new vehicle (2017). The expectation of buying a vehicle, used or new, is to be able to drive it and that it functions as it should. I have a hard time believing that this issue is something Atlanta Auto Brokers knew nothing about. It should be noted that the sales process does not stop when the sale is complete. When I bought the truck, I was told by the Sales Person that if something happened soon after I bought it, Atlanta Auto Brokers would make it right. I have yet to see how they intend to do so.
Edit: I got the truck back after a month at the dealership. It drove fine for a week and now it’s back in the shop. Still no call from Atlanta Auto Brokers.... very disappointing.
EDIT: I spoke with Tristan at Atlanta Auto Brokers. I let him know about the issues with my truck. He spoke with the owner and they agreed to buy back the truck. It wasn't for the full amount owed but it got me out of a bad situation. I appreciate them...
