I went with a friend, and we ordered a combination #16, with a 1/2 pitcher margaritas. The server brought out a full pitcher of margaritas, and when I asked her about it, she kept repeating back that we ordered a full pitcher and not a half. I reiterated that we, in fact, ordered a half pitcher, but she charged us for a full pitcher for $23. She would not take back the margaritas, nor would she change the pricing on the check. She very snarkily kept repeating back as she walked away, that we ordered a full all the while shrugging her shoulders and making faces. Definitely will not be returning. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very unwelcoming. There was no one at the front to welcome customers in and no direction on if we wait to be seated or seat ourselves. The waiter came by a total of 2 times, once to order, and the second was for the check. No one asked how our food was, or if we needed anything extra. Service...
Read moreWhat a great little place. The group running El Ranchero was friendly and ready to accommodate. I'm pleasantly surprised to have stumbled upon this spot.
The table salsa was ok, so I asked if they had another option. The server asked if I wanted spicy. Of course I did. Bam! The tomotilla salsa is a dime. Wow, so much flavor. Love it. You definitely should ask for it.
The margaritas were exactly what I asked requested, one of the best I've had in a while. So, I had two. Their tequila options and prices are definitely on point.
The food took a bit to come out, so I began to wonder if they were preparing everything fresh or if there an issue in the kitchen. Thankfully, it was the former. The Pollo asado in the tacos 🌮 was tastefully juicy with a nice flavor. My friends' nachos were outstanding.
Overall, I like this restaurant and will be...
Read moreThe absolute best Mexican restaurant in Cobb County. The staff are all extremely close and communicate well. They really take care of their customers. I've seen the largest dinner rushes full of the drunkest folks come stumbling through and the servers do a great job at handling it. The food is exactly what you would want if you're looking for "authentic". Everything is priced more than reasonably and the drinks are similar. If you've never had a Michelada, I recommend it here. We come here almost weekly just for the margaritas. You can expect a perfect blend, and if you're picky, just communicate what you're looking for. All the servers are extremely sweet. As far as the actual building, it's definitely a hole in the wall that's maintained just enough to accommodate...
