Because of the lady that was tall with long hair she had really bad attitude when checking me Olin she was also on the phone with her friend while checking me in I was asking questions trying to better aquatinted with the rooms that I was about to walk into. I have a service animal which automatic no charge and discrimination if they denied me for service and a law sue that I don't even have to go to court for the agency deals all that if I win I get some money back they serve them papers hand to hand I just send them hotel address this is a BIG deal this was personal issue with my support animal was a Chihuahua he wasn't vicious he had his license and papers on hand with me.I checked in hotel no more then 20mins I guess her family member stayed next door to me he had heard my dog bark when my husband was walking inn 2 lil barks because he was standing outside next to my door he had called up there for wifi password she screamed so loud at him get out for i call the police you have a dog in there taking 150 from you and you got 5 mins be to gone or im going to call police.hr said mam so polite we are southern we was raised to be very respectful so he said he a service animal she yelled get out noWwww and hung up in his face he explained to me I said let me talk to her she cant be that rude.i called front desk she picked up screaming before i can say anything she said I'm keeping room and money will be taking im calling police get out so rhw helpful she was so helpful housekeeper told us another hotel to go to and she continued to apologize to us because she said this little animal not harmful andthat we weren't there no longer then 20 mins we should have. My colleague and I were treated rudely upon arrival when we were informed that the room wasn't ready and only had one bed, as opposed to the 2 that were reserved. When I asked if they had cots he flippantly said no and that the room would be ready at 230. When we got back, the female employee let us know that there would be a $150 cash deposit required upon check in. She let us know that the man we spoke to earlier had explained everything to us. He had not. In her defense, there was a sign on the window explaining the deposit. It was an unheard of practice for my colleague and I, who stay in a lot of hotels, but we were stuck so we went to the QT next door. No ATM at the Magnuson but the QT next door gets 5 stars. Upon entering the room, we were immediately greeted by exposed wires, stains and holes in the carpet, water damaged walls and ceilings, and mold in the bathroom. It was not until a few hours later that we saw the roach. No idea how many others were in there but roaches are usually not a solitary species. The next morning, when I asked if and where breakfast was, he just said, "no breakfast." Once again, shout out to QT! That was the last of my interaction until we checked out a day later. The guy was extremely pleasant then, asked why we were in town, and explained the reasoning for the deposit and bare essentials. If previous experiences with bad guests have led to the way they run their hotel, it's going to be a rough business model moving forward. I think someone puked next to the bed. Sticky stuff on sink countertop. Toilet paper holder broken down, u can see a dark hole in wall behind it and the previous occupant just left their boiled egg pkg sitting on the dresser ( how can the housekeeper not see that sitting right in front of the TV? Oh & the front desk worker said, no ice machine & there was ice in the room. I found a plastic sandwich bag frozen stuck in the freezer that was not clean and full of old frost. A beer bottle broken in the parking lot. I mean, there's more but I'm tired of writing. I can't even rate this with one star....
