Completely Disgusted by the Owner. Woman and daughter of the business. DO NOT EAT FROM THIS RESTAURANT. I REPEAT DO NOT EAT THEIR FOOD!!!!
IF YOU WANT TO GET SICK. IF YOU WANT TO PLAY RUSH AND ROULETTE WITH YOUR LIFE. By all means! Eat it!!!
Between the respect and food. NO BUENO!!! 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🥴🥴🥴🥴🤢 This shows how these people really care about you. I’ve been going to this China kitchen for about 3 yrs now and I’ve given them so much of my business (coworkers, friends, and family). Never would I go back and I will tell everybody that I know, my experience.
So, last night, I’ve ordered food for the whole family. Wasn’t a cheap order. Usually I order the house lo mein with 8 pc wings. But I ordered the beef and broccoli. Just wanted something different. But the beef that’s in the lo mein I usually get is also in the beef and broccoli cooked the same way. I get home and couldnt wait to dive in cause I didn’t eat anything all day. As soon as I take the top off my plate, I get a weird smell. Nothing super crazy but it was like “ you know when you had something sitting out or something that smells as though it’s going bad”. That’s what my food smelled like. I am a chef at heart so immediately I worked kitchens, been around food long enough to know when the food should be thrown out (old prep). So I tasted a piece of the beef and immediately spit it out. I knew it was bad. Call the lady and told her. She immediately starts arguing with me on the phone. I told her I would take something else. Make it shrimp and broccoli. She said it would cost $2 more for that instead of just giving it to me for the mistake of selling me bad food. So she yelling and said whatever come get your new order. Telling me I didn’t know anything. She also told me to bring the food that was bad. So I arrive and she yells saying I was a liar and yelling across the restaurant at me in front of customers. Ive been coming there for years sometimes twice a week. She knew my number and knew what I always wanted before I can open my mouth each time I called. She treated me as if I was there only there to sabotage her business. To be honest, The beef was bad and they were still cooking and selling it to customers. I went to the restroom for the first time last night there. You walk by the kitchen to get to the restroom. They had a tray full of raw chicken sitting on top of the trash can. Just sitting there ! 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
They lost my business and everybody I know. I would never come back here and now that I know what type of person she is. She doesn’t deserve to have a business. Completely disrespectful after all of that money, respect and business I’ve given her and her family.
There’s no telling what other people have been eating her food and have been getting sick. One thing I’ve realized is also that there’s a new cook back there I’ve never seen before. So it could be why. I’ve had problems with there food tasting different but I’m not the guy to complain if it’s not that bad cause I understand some thing an about the kitchen life. 15 years a chef....

China Kitchen in Marietta has easily become one of my absolute go-to spots whenever I’m craving Chinese food. From the very first time I ordered, I knew this place was something special, and after countless visits, they’ve continued to impress me every single time.
Food Quality & Flavor The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and prepared with real care. Every dish has that perfect balance of seasoning, portion, and presentation that makes you look forward to your next order. The sesame chicken is always crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and coated with just the right amount of sauce—not overly sweet, but deliciously addictive. Their lo mein is one of my favorites—packed with noodles that aren’t greasy, fresh vegetables, and perfectly cooked protein. Even simple classics like fried rice are done exceptionally well here, which speaks volumes about their attention to detail.
Menu Variety One thing I love most about China Kitchen is the variety on their menu. Whether I’m in the mood for something spicy like General Tso’s chicken, something lighter like steamed shrimp with vegetables, or just an appetizer like crab rangoon, they never disappoint. Each dish tastes authentic and hearty, and the consistency is unmatched compared to other places I’ve tried.
Service & Staff The staff here is always polite, quick, and professional. Even when it’s busy, they handle orders with efficiency and a friendly attitude. My food is always ready on time when I order ahead, and when I dine in, the service is just as prompt and attentive. You can tell they care about their customers and work hard to keep people coming back.
Value & Portions Another reason I keep coming back is the value. The portions are generous without sacrificing quality. You definitely get your money’s worth, and in today’s world, that’s something that really stands out. It’s the kind of place where one meal can easily give you delicious leftovers for the next day.
Overall Experience China Kitchen isn’t just another restaurant—it’s the kind of place you keep in your regular rotation because you know you’ll always get a satisfying meal. Whether it’s a quick weeknight takeout or a sit-down dinner, they deliver quality and consistency every time.
Highly recommended to anyone in the Marietta area looking for exceptional Chinese food. If you haven’t tried China Kitchen yet, you’re truly missing out on one of the...
Read moreMy co-workers often order here but I have never enjoyed the entrees. Today I decided to place an order because it's close by work and I only wanted soup. Soup is hard to mess up, right? Well, when I called in my order, the young man that took it was curt to the point of being rude. I was told that I would have to pay cash because my order wouldn't meet the $5 minimum. I added somethings to my order to up my total and headed in to pick up my food. When I got there, the young man was still uninterested in being courteous or appreciative to customers. At check out, I discovered that I had been charged an additional dollar for the extra scallions I requested in my soup... Yes, $1... For a few extra snippets of green onion! I was also charged an extra .75 for the noodles I requested. This normally wouldn't have been a big deal but they were stale and not crisp, at all. They were clearly left over from days prior. My spring roll was mush in the middle and flavorless. I only added the spring rolls to raise my total and it turned out, with the extra charges for the onion and noodles would've made my original total meet the minimum, anyway! Essentially, I was cornered into buying more food in order to use a card and it turns that food was insipid, the service was poor and the prices were outrageous. I will not be returning. I will also be spreading the word to my co-workers who patron this...
