I’ve had the pleasure of having Codie come to my home twice now—first for my dishwasher and more recently for my oven—and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is clearly very knowledgeable and takes real care in explaining everything thoroughly. When he came to look at my dishwasher, he walked me through what was wrong, laid out my options clearly, and made sure I understood everything. I felt truly heard and respected.

He recently returned to assess my oven, and again, he was professional, thoughtful, and kind. I felt completely comfortable having him in my home—he’s someone you can trust. I’ll be moving forward with the oven repair and feel very confident in his hands.

It all began with Aliyah in scheduling. I had a somewhat complicated situation involving two appliances in my kitchen. I’d already tried another company and was left feeling uncertain and unsatisfied—unsure whether to repair, replace, or a combination. I had even been involved in an exhausting red-tap process with the headquarters of KitchenAid that was reaching a somewhat positive culmination. Aliyah was outstanding. Her warmth, patience, and wisdom stood out immediately. She took time to understand my situation and gave me real reassurance in the integrity of the company through her own clarity and kindness. She set the tone for what has been a genuinely reassuring and helpful process.

Right after that call, I was in touch with Anthony in new sales. He was equally impressive—kind, thoughtful, and very knowledgeable. He helped me think through my options, offered fresh insight, and validated the concerns I had. He sent me information quickly, and his respectful, informative approach gave me more confidence about what steps to take next.

By the time Codie arrived, I already had a very positive impression of Appliance Doctor, and his professionalism only deepened it. I felt comfortable, informed, and in capable hands.

As I write this, I’m still in the process of repair for my oven. After I finish writing this review, I’ll schedule the next appointment with Codie I hope I get Aliyah on the phone to schedule it, because that will give me the opportunity to experience the kindness and positivity of Aliyah once again. We have used The Appliance Doctor often and have always been very pleased. The technician was polite, useless, and charged us for without correcting the reason for our call for service.

The upper drawer on our dishwasher slides poorly or not at all. We saved the four plastic accessories that allow the upper drawer to slide easily. The technician said they were broken. WRONG. Over time 3 out of 4 of the screws holding them together had come loose. We saved all the pieces including the four screws (one remained in the plastic). All 4 nuts were gone.

The technician said the parts are old. He cannot order replacement accessories nor an entire new shelf. He said there is nothing he can do. He charged us $189 and left.

We are retired. That is a lot of money for nothing. We are planning to go to the hardware store to purchase four nuts to go with the saved screws and do our best to fix the dishwasher shelf. The dishwasher is old, served us very well, and deserves better respect.

All we needed is for someone to help us with screws and new nuts to fix the sliding drawer.

I welcome a response from the Appliance Doctor.

The Appliance Doctor did an excellent job in repairing our Uline Ice Machine and I strongly recommend their company. Their service tech was able to diagnose what was wrong very quickly. He was very professional and explained the problem and what was required to repair my unit. It ended up that he had to order a new board for the machine. When the new board was available, they scheduled me immediately and the tech installed the new board which was not working correctly. The Appliance Doctor decided to pick up my unit and take it to their shop for further review. At that point, the owner called me to let me know that the new board was faulty from the factory and that a new one had already been ordered. He apologized for the delay and offered me a unit on loan as he knew that I had a social function at my home the following week. To make a long story short the board came in, was installed and the unit was tested for a couple of days before they brought it back and it is now working fine. This was all done at the originally quoted price. The customer service that I experienced was outstanding. I happen to own an HVAC business in Atlanta and know what customer service is all about.
