3 stars only cause I was confused. Not a really traditional sushi/ Japanese restaurant. No Saki or beer (no booze at all) no miso soup, no sunomo salad, and no tempura? Place feels more like a panda Express or an Edo vs a pricey sit down place . Service was also confusing..very kind and polite...but when he brought new plates of food...he left the dirty empty ones on the table (just taking up space. We started stacking the plates....and they still sat there?? Only reason it's got 3 stars was the good quality was actually very good. Had the NY / chicken as one of our dishes and steak was done perfect. Will we go back again.... Not sure.

A decent local little restaurant. A bit noisy and no clear signs when you come in saying whether to seat yourself or wait to be seated. Menu print could be a little larger. That said... the waiter was friendly and the sushi rolls were definitely quality and well presented. Ambience etc... was a 3 star... but food was a 4.5, so I went with an overall 4

Great food and nice staff by be warned as great of place it is : the wait can kill your opinion of this place . The wait for a table on Friday ranges from 5-40 minutes based on how popular this place is . Other than that the food was super hot and they have an amazing yummy sauce ..

4/19/19 Edit:

Man, this place has made leaps and bounds since last time. Ordered the crab wonton and shrimp/scallop hibachi. Food and service were fast and at an affordable rate. Wish the wontons were a bit bigger, but the hibachi meal was a lot less salty this go around.

Give them another shot. They may surprise you.

7/4/17 Original post:

Decently priced. Food didn't impress me much. Hibachi meal was incredibly salty. Service was speedy, but lacked soul. I don't think I'll be returning.

I ordered the spicy tuna roll and the shrimp/scallop hibachi with noodle. The roll was legit just meat and crunchy bits. Most spicy tuna rolls have at least a few veggies in it. I was sort of taken aback, though I still ate it. The hibachi meal has some awkward crunchy bits and was way too salty to eat entirely. It was swimming in oil and soy sauce.

They were quick when it came to their service, but nobody really seemed alive or interested in being there. If (and this is a rather big if) I decide to order from them, it would most likely be a to go order. It just felt sorta dead.

Went on 7/4/17...

I cant say enough good things about this place. Awesome food, taste is amazing, the ingredients are fresh and clean, its prepared within view at all times, and the sushi is legit. By legit I mean prepared with authenticity by a chef who cares about the art and craft not just getting another order out. But what surprises me the most is the great prices for everything on the menu. If this place was in a larger city the prices could easily be 2-3 times more expensive. If you enjoy Sushi, Thai food, and other Asian inspired dishes you own it to yourself to check this...
