TLV did many things great and a few things were underwhelming. First, my partner and I both really enjoyed the atmosphere. The art, the service, and the music all felt inviting and fun. In terms of being COVID-friendly, I give this restaurant a 5/5. Each booth was surrounded by their own set of curtains, which created private pods for each group of guests. All staff were masked as well. We started the meal with hummus and pita. The hummus looked traditional in presentation topped with zaatar and olive oil, but the hummus itself was underseasoned. Some added salt would go a long way. Next, the hummus came with pita, but the pita was unlike any pita I've had both in my travels to Israel and stateside. It was much like a corner of a loaf of bread as opposed to pita. I ordered the lamb shawarma as my entree. Unfortunately, I ordered it with pita, unaware that the bread wasn't really pita. With that being said, the meat was really delicious and seasoned well. The "pita" was stuffed with lettuce and pickles at the bottom of the loaf and meat on top, so it was difficult to get a bite with everything. I ended up eating all the meat first and then the lettuce and pickles second. Layering this like a sandwich instead of a parfait would have fixed this issue and the use of pita would have likely helped with execution. My partner ordered the stewed brisket on a bed of rice. This dish was the most true to a traditional israeli dish that I tasted all night. The meat and veggies were flavorful, comforting, and filling. If you are coming for a cultural experience in Marietta, I would recommend this dish. Overall, the atmosphere was great, the prices were very fair, and the food was decent. I think this restaurant would offer anyone a fun night out no matter the "pita" falls.

My husband and i love this place. An all around great place to dine in. Great selections of food and theyre very generous of the portion from what you pay for. The food is fresh and homemade which is even better, very good quality of food. The staff are wonderful kind people. It is so nice to finally see something different of food to dine in, in this town. Thanks for your delicious food, we will be back for sure!😊

TLV was a pleasant dining experience. The ambience and artworks were awesome and our booth had nice white curtains for privacy. The hosts were wonderful and accommodating. I ordered the Baba Ganoush and it was presented well and a delicious appetizer to have here. And same goes with the chicken curry. I would love to visit this place any time when I am in town.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I'd try to give 11. Settled mid town, this old store front turned Mediterranean restaurant is an absolute GEM! Fresh, clean food all prepared on site has a refreshing updated twist while the interior decor boasts a nod to old world America. The food selections were delightful on the menu and the server, who may have been married to the owner or chef? was incredibly helpful. I am challenged with an olive oil allergy and the staff were very accommodative to improvise on their menu to adapt, and they sure didnt disappoint!! The meals ordered were out promptly and hot, and everything was incredible!! I wish a joint like this was closer to home - I'd eat there daily. Despite covid being an issue at the time of visit, the dining inside was cozy and divided to keep parties separate without feeling clunky or bunched. Our server went out of her way to be accommodating over and over to ensure we were pleased. Beer was in a cooler and bottles were available self serve. Drinks were served in niche dishware that kept drinks cold, and plates were modern. Two drinks, two entrees and a complimentary salads sampler with 1 desert (I'll run out of room to write if I took any time to dote on how delicious THAT was) ran us under $35.00 - I'd have expected something between $48-$55 at home for the quality and quantity served.

Eat here. You wont be...

I really don’t know what happened to this place. The reviews and photos looked great, and we were so excited to have to international food, especially in Marietta! Sadly, the service and atmosphere of the place was truly unlike anything I’ve seen before, and not in a good sense.

The front seating area was filled with random items, with no actual open seating. We sat in the uncomfortable benches in the other room instead, except this room had been converted into some kind of political campaign area? Again, there was very little seating. The worst of all, though, was when a confused-looking man walked up to us, threw our menus on the table, and said something like ā€œthere. hmxhxnsmsh.ā€ and walked away. He pushed our uneasiness a bit too far and we decided to walk out. The staff and owner didn’t ask any questions, just watched us walk away.

Again, I don’t want to give a poor review without trying the food, but the experience was truly awful. Don’t know what’s going on, but I hope things get...
