We visited this cemetery on one of our trips to Marietta, and it was interesting to find the ancient mound in the middle of it.
We find it fascinating that the pioneers of Marietta (mostly buried in this cemetery) decided to build the town burial grounds around the mound and keep it intact.
For history or paranormal fans, it's a must to read about the site and experience those buried in these haunted grounds.
