Want to love this place. Menu looked amazing and several in-person recommendations. Got there around 830pm. Several servers and open tables looked manageable. Noboday talked to us until we finally just took a table facing the TNF game. No sound, o, no big deal. However, the jukebox was so lou that I couldn't hear my wife across the table. We order 2 kids' meals, both we're great for kids' meals, an order of the loaded tavern chips, delicious. A club that was meh, ok. Bread needed to be actually toasted and not just left out on the counter to air harden, still edible. And a cup of French onion soup. It was a joke. It was soggy croutons with kinda melted cheese. Served in a condiment dish. Not a cup and definitely not soup. The server Alex was great. She warned us she was new, but she was amazing. The music seemed to be getting louder about every 15 min, and the light dimmer. Eventually, it was dark inside and so loud we paid the bill and left. I attempted twice to get the attention of the staff to confirm whether both bags belonged to my order, as I didn’t want to risk missing items or accidentally taking someone else’s food. Unfortunately, both employees at the ignored me completely.
When I finally asked the cook, he seemed unsure and had to call over another employee, who rummaged through the bags before confirming the order. The cook then pushed the bags back toward me.
The order included two bags and three drinks, but no carrier was provided, nor did anyone offer assistance in making it easier to carry. This lack of consideration made the pickup unnecessarily difficult.
Overall, the customer service was very poor. Delivery drivers play a role in helping businesses increase sales, yet experiences like this—where employees are dismissive, unhelpful, or outright rude—make the process frustrating for both drivers...
Read moreThe restaurant wasn't full but there was only 1 server. We were pretty patient because we understood that the service industry is having issues right now. But we asked 3 times for menus and finally just got our own. It took us over an hour to be served and we had to ask for refills and for forgotten food orders. The table across from us mentioned they were overcharged so we made a mental note to check our bills. We were overcharged also. The server argued slightly with us but finally had the extra drink removed. The food was very below average and certainly nothing to come in for. 3 people at our table had onion rings. 2 orders were completely different from the other. How does that happen? The owner or manager stood behind the bar and never offered to help the line server and never checked on any tables. All in all, not a good experience and until they have a manager on shift who actually cares, this place will continue to decline. There are far better places...
