Amazing place! I came in with my family of 7, and right after us three other parties walked in—one just as big as ours and two smaller groups. Even with all of us coming in at once, there was only one server working. He was so quick, efficient, friendly, and helpful, and honestly did such a great job keeping up with everyone. The fact that he managed to accommodate all the tables by himself is crazy. There was only one cook too, and he was just as fast and impressive, getting food out quickly.
The whole restaurant felt really homely and welcoming. The food was delicious, fresh, and flavorful, and you could tell they put care into it. The margarita I had was yummy too, definitely worth ordering. Even the restroom was clean, which everyone always appreciates. They do take pride in what they do :)
We are traveling for the holiday/weekend and there aren’t many Mexican restaurants nearby, so we were really glad we chose this one. It felt like the perfect stop, the service and food made it worth it. It’s a nice spot to support and give your time to, they deserve the love. I’d definitely come back again whenever I’m...
Read moreThis place is great! Sarita's is really the best expression of California Taqueria I've had on the southern side of bay. When you want the taqueria staples (big burrito, chips & salsa, tacos, meats, etc) done perfectly, THIS is the place to come. Their meats arent greasy, their beans are flavorful, their burritos are huge and perfectly proportioned...damn this place is good. Their salsa might be my favorite taqueria salsa ever. Sarita's is tied for #1 taqueria in Marina easily, with Michael's & Aki Fresh Mex - but those places have their "spin" (and are worth checking out), but if you want straight up perfect taqueria food, Sarita's is IT. Will definitely be coming back here often. 10/10 and the service was phenomenal, they are "go out of their way" nice. This...
Read moreGot there a little before 830pm. As soon as I opened the door the lady said I would have to order to go because they’re closing. I said I was only craving carne asada street tacos. After she said they can make the order to go I agreed but I asked what time they closed and she said 9pm!!?
I should have taken that as a sign. What I got were the worst street tacos for the worst price I have ever experienced.
4 street tacos $14
Fourth taco was the size of my pinky. Laughable amount of meat. Tortillas weren’t cooked and broke, not tear… broke. I tried another taco and found oil between the two tortillas. I tried eating just the carne with a fork and it was burnt and full of oil.
Will not be going back and highly recommend anyone wanting tacos to go...
