Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Marion

We started off waiting at the door and didn’t get greeted for 10 minutes. After we were sat they got our drinks fairly quickly but my beer was wrong took another 10 minutes to get the right one. At this point we put our appetizers in and it took 30 minutes before we got those. The server apologized her name was daisha I believe and she said she was sorry she forgot us and that she was extremely busy in our area there were only 2 tables but we figured we would let it go. Then our salad and baked potato was brought out I ordered the baked potato with butter cheese and bacon no sour cream it was brought out with sour cream. I had to wait another 10 minutes for her to come back so I could tell her it was wrong then we put in our food order and she said she would bring out my potato ASAP which took another 15 minutes. Our table was barely checked on and she never took any of our dishes from the 3 appetizers we had ordered which were all stacked nice for her to take. Then we waited for our food which took another hour for us to get and during this time she was nowhere to be found. Once we finally got our food it was all cold except for my wife’s meal and my kids burgers were so hard they couldn’t eat them. She said she would discount some of it even tho out of 5 of us only one of us could actually eat their food. She took off one of the three kids meals and half off the appetizers. At the end it took another 20 minutes to get our bill and another 15 to get a Togo for my wife’s food. Through this entire time there was no manager in sight and none to be found until she discounted the food and never even came to our table. This was a horrible experience all around and it’s honestly unacceptable. We still ended up paying 60 dollars for almost all food we couldn’t even eat. I was more shocked because me and my wife both work in the restaurant industry and to see such horrible service at an Applebee’s was just shocking. They were having a deal on wings but we we're told they were out of any spicy hot sauce. Literally no mild nothing. Which is crazy, to have and advertise a wing special but then to be out of all the sauces I'm sure 90 percent of wing eaters want makes zero sense. IDC if we were the last seat before closing that night that's just not acceptable. And we weren't btw we came in about 5 hours B4 closing. I ordered the rib eye steak medium, for it being medium which means more cooking time they could've used that extra time to get a nice crust on the steak. It came out looking wet and grey. It was chaotic as 3 different ppl were at our table delivering things or asking if we needed anything. I honestly didn't know who to even tip and felt bad I wasn't tipping the others.First walked in the host didn't give us direction on where to sit she just kinda eh pick wherever. Idk why it always takes 15 mins to get Togo boxes, the check but it does. When I'm ready to leave I'm ready to leave! Also ordered a strawberry daiquiri I couldn't even finish half of it it was too strong, not enjoyable. I love strawberry daiquiris bc u usually can't taste the alcohol or very little not to say there isn't a lot that goes in it but if you make it right the other non-alcoholic ingredients mask the alcohol taste. “ Very unprofessional workers, burnt partial food orders, horrible atmosphere over all”. Won’t be back Went to this location 1/23/23. Waited 5 mins for a host after workers saw us ( even made eye contact) standing there and didn’t acknowledge. Finally asked for a manger from the bartender and the female manager apologized and sat us at a table. We order our drinks and food. Got our drinks/ and part of my order (which was the 14.99 all you can eat) so I got my chicken which was burnt but I ate it anyways, the server said it would be 5 more mins on my fries ( which is ok). 5+ mins went by and never received my fries let alone a server never checked up on us after we got our food. After we ate our partial meal, I was planing on ordering another thing of wings but again no server. So I got up and asked the bartender who was my server and I would like my bill. ( also asked for the 14.99 meal to be down graded to just wings since I didn’t get my full order). The bartender said she would go talk to the manager. ( she never did).
