Dear B-Dubs,
So here's the start of my rant. I am a regular. I come in EVERY Thur-Fri. The service on Thur is superior to the service on Fri. I do understand that in certain situations when restaurants get busy the attention can be shallow, unintentionally... still yet it makes sense. Their slammed. If you view the pictures attached that wasnt the case. I have experienced horrible service more then once. I continue to attend because bdubs has a million TV's and the drafts are always consistent. If I am being honest I personally don't care for the food. The smell in the air is grease. The food when it gets placed in front of you no matter if its a salad, a wrap, wings, or what have you. Everything taste the same. I am a Chef. I have many years of kitchen experience so my opinions and thoughts may be a bit more aggressive. I am a nice guy. Great tipper. Always 25-30% regardless of service. My issue is at what point does SOMEONE get held accountable for such poor service consistently?. I am not sure who runs, owns, or operates the Marion,IL Location, but he, she, them, they needs to be aware of what is going on. My meal is always the same. The All-American. Open faced. No buns. Patties with cheese. Pickles. Tomato. Add sauteed onions. And tots. Simple. My burger was hard enough to break glass. Tots cold. The condiments where underneath the brick they called meat. Smh. I did grab the kitchen manager to make him aware, but this happens so often I dnt feel like thats enough. Whoever is the franchisee owner of this establishment needs to understand what is happening at this location. It is less then poor service from the kitchen staff. Not individually. I know names personally but will keep them out respectfully. There is GOOD, but there is dirt in the water. This sort of behavior is what runs off the regulars, because it continues to happen on a REGULAR BASIS. Someone has to be and needs to be held accountable and for this particular reason some sort of investigation should be performed. More internal training, customer service SOP'S. Idk. Something aside from NOTHING needs to be adjusted. I will be back this Thur-Fri as I am a creature of habit, but my relationship with the kitchen I believe after this experience with be complete. To whomever is tasked to read these reviews, this isn't disrespect, this is informative text. See you all next week!. 🙂 Hopefully, better service?! 🙏...
Read moreI want to start this off by saying that I have worked in a restaurant. I have also worked in other customer service capacities in the past, so I know how it is. I almost never leave reviews online. However, my girlfriend and I have had nothing but terrible experiences here every single time since opening. We have called or used the app for takeout 4 times now. Twice with the app, and called in the other times.
The first time I waited 20 mins over pick up time. The second time was the same thing. We also paid the $2.40 ($.60 * 4) for ranch. After waiting for around 20 minutes I finally asked the girl if she had an idea on my food. I always ask politely and remain patient due to my customer service background. She brought it out and I thankfully surveyed the contents of the bag. Of course there was no ranch in the bag. I told her that I paid for 4 ranch and it seemed to bother her that I noticed the absence. She really gave me an attitude for asking for what I paid for. It was almost like I was an inconvenience to her. I'm terribly sorry for burdening you to get me what I paid for, especially after the long overdue wait.
We gave it one last go tonight at the Marion location. I told my gf that it would be the same old song and dance. Called and pickup was set at 6:40. I walked into the place at 6:43. I paid the girl and was told that it would be "5 minutes or less" as she said it was being bagged right now. Fast forward another 25 minutes and of course I am still sitting there waiting on my food. My girlfriend called in at this point due to all the issues. The manager made excuses about it being a Friday night. He also weaseled out by saying that using the app was not in sync with their location and expected times. Guess what buddy? We've had issues here regardless every single time: Bottom line is that you don't make excuses that don't matter to people. Stand by your pickup parameters and items sold. Making excuses is just a piss poor way of kicking the can down the street. How about you fix the damn issues at hand, or talk to someone that can. The little girl running the takeout register shouldn't lie or make unrealistic expectations up either.
We will no longer be ordering from this location...
Read moreI have been here once 3 years ago, but studying and figuring out AV over IP systems is so fascinating. Buffalo Wild Wings shows AV over IP at its best. Just the way 8 or 9 DIRECTV receivers can go to 50 different televisions is cool. I know it’s not that hard once you figure it out which I have, but it’s something I’ve always wanted to get a better understanding of. It went from an analog coax system with little DIRECTV D12’s with an 18” Round 3 LNB Dish type (satellites 101, 110, 119) . (how I prefer to wire things) to amazing component systems with DIRECTV H25 HD receivers as well has having a 5 LNB Slimline Dish type (satellites 99, 101, 103, 110, 119) which is what I presume is at this location. The concept of the way the system works is awesome and it’s great how it helps bring the community together. But then the power goes out and every tv says “hello your directv receiver is starting up” and goes though the boot up sequence which happens to everyone on DIRECTV. In the end having AV over IP is a good way to keep a business going. But it’s bad when all the receiver are in a big cabinet in the wall but that’s how the system is.
This Might be the weirdest review you’ve ever seen but I like to fiddle with TV’s and satellite equipment like pointing my portable satellite dish (Dish Network) and learning more and more everytime I do it, and having dish in my house too to where all I have to do is bring my receiver outside and point my dish and take the portable dish camping. I am yet to start working on directv but it’s harder to point when you get in the SWM LNB types like what this location could have. For that, you need a...
