McDonald's — Restaurant in Marion

Today, at 10:30 a.m. myself and my family went to this McDonald's. Upon arrival in the drive through, I ordered the food and patiently waited for the line to move. I am a type 1 Diabetic. I calculated the Carbs for the meal and dosed my insulin for the Carbs while waiting in the drivethrough. Upon my arrival to the first window, the worker stated she cannot accept my u.s. currency. I asked why. She stated that she was told that she cannot accept $100.00 bills. I told her I had no other way to pay, and I had just ordered my food and needed the exception. I also conveyed I understood it was not her fault but I was unaware of them not accepting u.s. currencies of $100.00 bills. She asks for help from her manager. Her manager comes to the window. I attempted to explain that I had just dosed for insulin. She would not allow the explanation and told me that the company does not accept the $100.00 bills and I could leave and go break it somewhere to lower bills. I told her I do not have the 30 mins time to take that advice and asked for the accomodation of accepting the $100.00 as there was no disclaimer posted anywhere in the drivethrough stating that they cannot accept $100.00 bills. I am currently anticipating the liklihood of me having to go to the Emergency Room as McDonald's not only refused service to me after I had dosed insulin and tried to pay with u.s. currency, but would not allow the time of day to allow me to explain the urgency. Instead, the manager was dismissive and rude and interrupting me, as well as accusing me of having counterfeit bills. I attempted to use the number posted on the door to contact Patrick and Heather Joyner and the number doesn't work. I hope that my dosage can be met with the Carbs necessary somewhere else as McDonald's obviously doesn't care about type...

Tonight made several times I have went to this location and every time I go you have to wait at the order box forever before they ask to take your order. When I go I order a good bit well the fries we ordered were completely cold they said they didn’t have ice cream said the machine was messed up. So I had to go to Burger King to get the ice cream. I came back cause the fries were cold when I pulled up to the window the girl wasn’t wearing a mask at all she didn’t even apologize for anything they wanted me to pull up and I told them no I had waited long enough and they cooked fresh fries and then I look over and they made ice cream and milkshakes for themselves after they just said the machine wasn’t working and I had to go across the street. The other girl that was working in the window was taking a order and the girl I just told my issue to goes and leans over to her and then she starts looking over at me and then their crew starts laughing and looking. When she brought my fries to the window she didn’t apologize for anything and didn’t even say thank you she just stuck the bag out and handed it to me. I spend too much money at this location to be treated so unprofessionally! I’m very unhappy with this experience and will not be back to this McDonald’s! They need some new people or taught how to work with the public. I know how it’s suppose to be ran I worked here for 4 years and this is just a messy business. I hope the next has a better...

This was the worst experience that I have ever had at a McDonald's. They were so unorganized and rude. We waited in the drive through for over 10 minutes on our small order. They were not very busy or I would have definitely been more understanding. The food was not hot or fresh. Nuggets tasted like they were refried and tough but my kid still ate those. It took them 3 tries to finally make a burger with no mustard and that's probably because I was so fed up from the attitude that I had them just put pickles on it and give me ketchup packets. There was a customer in front of me in the drive through that had been waiting and they continued to mess up his order too and he finally just told them to refund him. The "manager" was rude with him and mumbled that she knew that his order went out. They took 1 bag to his car while I was sitting there and he immediately took it back inside and came back out to wait for his correct order. This McDonalds is a joke and I wasted 20 minutes there trying to get a basic hamburger for a kid. We will never visit this...
