This is my absolute favorite bagel shop and I have been to bagels places all over the country and most in NJ/NY. I have been going here for about 8 years. All the bagels are delicious. They don't use any dough conditioners and the bagels are all hand-rolled. The bagels are larger than average. They are always fresh. Many times they are crispy on the bottom and perfectly chewy on top - just the way I love them since I don't get them toasted, the purist I am. They have a great selection, too. I can't leave out the Great Grain and Great Grain Everything bagels. You will never have another whole grain bagel like this. I feel good about eating this bagel and it tastes phenomenal with butter. I'm from Brooklyn and grew up with some of the best bagels. Bagel World's bagels are definitely up to par with great bagels (and awesome flat bagels), but their challah and other baked bread goods are excellent! Best challah I have ever had! But the thing that brings me to come here as my #1 bagel spot in the area and give a 5 star review is the customer service and accuracy of their orders. Unlike other bagels stores in the area, they seem to put customer service to the top of their list of priorities and their prices are very reasonable as well. Other bagel stores may have a nicer and more modern environment to sit in, but Bagel World in Marlboro trumps them all in my option due to their excellent customer service! So this place is absolutely amazing they’re top notch to be truthful, but the only issue with this place is the guy with the glasses up front I get the same thing everyday and whenever he is there it comes back wrong no matter how many times I repeat my order to him not only that but the poor etiquette of his customer service he would throw my card back at me or take care of other people’s orders prior to mine that was already ready at this point it feels somewhat personal so me and about 2 other guys that I work with don’t go here when he is there...
