Four Swords Retropub — Restaurant in Marquette

I love absolutely everything about this place. FSR's food, especially the tonkotsu and curry ramen, is some of my favorite food in the city. The staff are incredibly kind, friendly people, and they do a great job of keeping FSR a friendly, safe environment where I feel totally welcome. The games are plentiful and all really fun, and there's so many that I always end a night there wishing I'd shown up sooner so I'd have more time to play everything.

The events they host are also super great and have made a huge difference for me - I attend monthly tournaments here, and it's led to me finding one of the friendliest, most fun communities I've ever gotten the opportunity to be around. Everyone I compete with is incredibly friendly and supportive, and knowing how hard it is to meet people, a place like this is so important! People of any skill level can compete and have a great time as well.

There's truly something here for everybody; you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't check this place out.

This place is by far my favorite restaurant in town! It’s easily the best ramen and gyoza I’ve ever had. As someone with a severe allergy to all types of nuts, I am so thankful to say I feel completely safe eating everything on their menu, which isn’t something I can say about most restaurants! They were also able to accommodate my friend with celiac, so bonus points for that!

All of the games here are so much fun to play, it’s so easy to spend a few hours having fun with friends. The atmosphere is so welcoming and the owners are so kind and helpful if we ever have questions about the games.

The tournaments that are hosted here are also so much fun. Everyone who attends them is just there to have a great time and I’ve met some really cool people at this amazing place. Shout out to Blake for managing the tournaments!

All in all, I’d recommend this to anyone whether you’re looking for food or a great place with phenomenal people to spend some time...

Didn't go to play games I went for food and I was absolutely blown away! I did not expect to be so impressed with a ramen dish. When I saw the sheer volume of ramen noodles underneath the chicken and eggs and the other goodies, I figured there's no way I'm eating all of these noodles. I'm trying to be low carb and that all went out the window because it was so delicious I emptied that bowl and ate all of the scrumptious dumplings with his amazing sauce. Chef Anthony knows what he's doing and his passion absolutely shines through his dishes I highly recommend this place and if you've got the time to play some old-school favorite video games he's got the coolest stuff! Food and games all in one place like I could spend an entire day here if I only had the time I could spend 10 hours straight on his full size Mario...
