was there twice, my first and last time. servers need some serious menu training. my ordered a salad and was told there was no salmon or shrimp available for the salad. he asked for chicken on the salad, menu reads pecans, crumbled blue cheese. the salad came out and he asked about the pecans, sorry we are out of them. this should have been said when he ordered. he asked where is the blue cheese crumbles? they are right there she replied, where he asked ? she replied in the dressing, the crumbles are in the dressing. he told her to take it back and put the crumbled blue cheese on it which she did. I ordered the whitefish tacos which she said were on flour tortillas that have been warmed on the grill. the tortillas were white corn and cold right out of the cooler. I asked about flour tortillas and she replied , oh they were white so I assumed they were flour. she also took drink order after placing our food order only after I flagged her down. when we recieved the bill it was for another table for $18, ours was $56, and then we had to have her add the drinks to the tab. will not be returning, too many great restaurants in marquette to visit that know how to train...

An absolute gem. Everything you’d expect to find in a UP dive bar without the dive. Digs welcomes you with a rustic northern vibe, wooden everything with modern touches with aluminum siding for a ceiling, exposed and wooden paneled walls and industrial style lighting. The service here is nothing less than incredible. The staff didn’t just make me feel welcomed, they made me feel like I belonged here. By the time I left, both bartenders knew my name as I knew theirs and were sure to make me feel like I needed to come back. The tap list is constantly rotating for craft beer nerds, excellent bottle and can list and delicious cocktails. Important part. The food. This IS a bar and has bar food. Wings and hotdogs but digs turned it up a notch and took bar food to the next level. Kimchi and curry are mentioned a lot with a ton of culinary fusion and fun plays on everything you’d expect to find at your local bar. Overall, I’ll be back. Beyond pleased with all aspects of...

The Dill pickle pita is what I ordered and it was absolutely delicious. They do have a kids menu/offer kid sized portions like cheeseburger and fries, etc. Atmosphere was just like a regular bar. Lots of college kids, it appeared, mixed with tourists like us. Located right down town. We rode our bikes but parking looked limited. There were several drink options to choose from. Once they started getting really busy, the 2 bartenders/ wait staff obv seemed more focused on the people coming in. We waited about 10 minutes after we were done and sitting there before we were approached again. Our waitress didn't offer to get us more drinks, which kind of sucked bc we wanted more drinks. By the time we were offered more drinks, we had already received our bill, so no use to getting another at that point. Overall, the staff were friendly, there was good food and a good atmosphere and I would definitely recommend eating here for at least 1 meal your...

My wife and I saw their ad on TV and made a decision to try the food at Digs, Downtown Marquette MI. It's a really nice rustic pub with a great bar and a good menu. We ordered sandwiches; Reuben and Filly Cheese Steak. Both were terrific...one came with fries the other with these awesome potato chips. It was a Saturday night, lots of people were out, a good crowd in there as well, we had a really nice time. The food was pretty good. The service was excellent, very friendly staff. A local hangout for sure, college kids, older folks, and everyone in between, cool atmosphere. I recently moved back to Marquette after living away for decades. I remember this place being another establishment way back when. Now at Digs, they've done a nice job with the property...way to go, wish you all the best! Picture of MQT lighthouse, not Digs, but easy walking distance to downtown.

This is the ONLY place I order a hot dog at (they may deep fry them??) Quiet place for a Friday night at 7:30 but that was okay--Star Wars: Return of the Jedi was playing on every single TV. Imagine never knowing what Star Wars is and watching the Jubba the Hut scenes on mute?! What a wild fever dream. If you're lucky, someone will open the very inconveniently placed basement floor door and retrieve supplies...hopefully, they don't keep a rancor down there! Kimchi balls are 10/10, mac rolls are fine but overrated. Get a hot dog dude, especially the bulgogi one!
