I ordered the quesabirria and queso for takeout. The food was very tasty. The salsa and queso are flavorful without being very spicy, and the birria was tasty too. The portions are very generous, they even gave me a lot of extra meat in the birria broth! I do wish is was possible to order a smaller portion though because in the end it was too much food for me, and I’m only in town for one night and don’t have a way to safely take the leftovers with me.
The only negative with the food was that my very first bite of the quesabirria was a huge mouthful of fat. It seems like that was just bad luck on my end because all of the rest of the meat was well trimmed and high quality. It was just an unfortunate way to start my meal with such a nasty bite.
It was ready on time and I didn’t have to wait around in the restaurant at all when I picked it up. The staff member who helped me wasn’t very friendly and seemed busy with something else, which made the interaction kind of awkward.
Overall it was very good and I would...
Read moreI went in to order take out. Server sat me at the end of the bar and gave me a menu. While I looked at the menu a server brought me chips and salsa. I was there 2 days previously same time and this is what the staff did that day also. I thanked the server for the chips and salsa. She went and spoke to the manager and then came back and started to take away the chips and salsa. Due to her language barrier I indicated that I wanted the chips and salsa and that I would pay for them. The manager then came over and the server tried to take them away again and the manager asked if I wanted them. I said yes and stated that I would pay for them. They acted as if this was an issue so I got up and left. I had been working all day and had not eaten and so I left in tears. Have not been treated so poorly for a long time. They treated me as if I may steal the chips and salsa. Will never return and they can keep their...

First time was dine in, orders soups, nachos, fajitas, etc. They literally didn't bring us half of what we ordered. We got out drinks and fajitas and nothing else. Didn't even ring them in.
After that I decided take out would be better. Gave them a second try, ordered soups, steak fajita and beef chimi. Got home with a chicken chimi. Really didn't feel like eating a chicken entree and chicken soup so that was a waste.
Also $9 for soup?!? It was good, but not $9 good. Times two and I could have bought dinners almost anyplace else and would have actually got what I ordered. $18 is a bit much for two soups.
Not sure what happened, the nice lady who took the order over the phone seemed to speak English well and read it back to me correctly, maybe somebody in the kitchen doesn't read so well or maybe they...
