Perkins American Food Co. — Restaurant in Marshfield

I had not been to Perkins in years and thought it would be nice to catch breakfast with my wife. We ordered pancakes and coffee. We got the coffee and the waitress never stopped at our table again. After 40 mins we paid for the coffee told the hostess what was up and left. Maybe someday if I get to try the food I can give a better rating. Round two and I have to tell you I might have to give more stars due to the novelty of this place. We ordered coffee and water and one breakfast entree to share. The waitress brought the water out and no coffee. Then others were seated around us. Approx 20 mins later the other tables started receiving entrees. At this point I decided this place could actually be cool if you ate before you came and just came to witness how bad it can be. We set a 45 min deadline on our breakfast entree and it did come out just before time expired. Also I did get my coffee with the check. If you have the time and patience you really should check...

Perkins in Marshfield has been a bright spot in our days. My husband and I had been in Marshfield for approximately 3 weeks while a family member was in the hospital. Every morning we came to Perkins to have breakfast. We were fortunate enough to get acquainted with a wonderful human being, server, manager whose name is Julie. In addition to being a wonderful human being, who was sympathetic with our situation, she was able to manipulate the menu to accommodate an avocado toast platter for me every morning. It came to be that we would just walk in. She would ask "same thing"? We would say yes as she sat us at a booth. And miraculously there would be a platter of avocado toast for me, and an everything omelet for my husband delivered to our booth. We felt taken care of during this difficult time that we were going through with our family member at the hospital. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Perkins, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch.

A special shoutout to our waitress, Lisa, who went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she made us feel genuinely welcomed.

The food was fresh and flavorful—I highly recommend their Grannies Omlet Everything was served hot and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food.
