This is going to be long but it has been so long since I've been pampered like this. I have back and hip pain, partly from genetics partly from not getting chiropractic care even after a doctor referral post natal. This past month it has been so bad... affecting my neck terribly and also my legs and feet (probably due to slight weight gain). I'm too logical to spend money on a chiropractor just to get any progress undone in a night by my 2 year old cheap [ch-EE-puh!] spring nightmare at home. So it's been weeks and I finally come accross Ashley Homestore online that advertised a sale on PLUSH memory foam mattress. And mind you this is after hundreds of online reviews on other retailers and brands, especially off Amazon, with terrible reviews about bed bugs, smells, mold, incomplete inflation, etc. The list is never ending so I was generally pretty scared buying any memory foam product, especially for the first time, but the pain is pretty bad so I don't have a choice. Anyway the website said they were sold out so I called the warehouse and I got transferred to sales and talked to Pat (the guy) and he was so helpful and nice, he even gave me his personal cell number and quoted me right away. It was so easy and he was so nice I hoped it wasn't a scam. I ordered the queen and twin Chime 12" plush memory foam mattress, the waterproof protectors for both and the warranty. With tax and everything the total end balance came out to $930. Which is a great deal in my opinion considering all the options I looked into. A couple days later I called the warehouse/distribution center in Stevens point to let them know I was picking up, we're in the process of moving so I don't want it delivered. EVERYONE WAS SO NICE! Even tho I pulled up in a loud cankety beater they treated me like a terminally ill person and my make a wish was these beds. Like so nice and helpful I can't get over the fact every single person I dealt with was just awesome. Brought the bed home (since they were "sold out" I'm waiting on the queen to be shipped up from somewhere else and have to wait on that one yet) and opened it up easily. No weird smell, the actual bed has a removable cover which I inspected and no signs of bed bugs. The wrapping and plastic was so tight I can't imagine bed bugs or mold would even be able to get in the bed or survive 24 hours if it had been contaminated. It inflated to all 12" in less than 5 minutes. Saying it is the most comfortable thing I've laid on in my life is an understatement. I just laid there not even sleeping for an hour. It was the first time my back and body conplecomp relaxed in years and the first since before I had my now 7 month old that I laid on anything pain free. Pain free! Ohmygawd nevershoppinganywhereelse. Pat, thank you, I hope corperate sees this and gives you a raise. Desk and warehouse people, you are great and helped make me feel special. Read moreThe absolute WORST customer service I have ever had!! I bought my couch set there less than a year ago and it started falling apart immedietly. I've been trying to contact them for 4 months, and no one has helped me!! I leave messages, no one calls back, I send emails with pictures of the damage, no one gets back to me, I go to the store, and they tell me they will have someone call within a week. No one calls. I have already informed many family and friends about the aweful cheaply made products they sell and their horrible customer services, and none of them will be giving this place business. Not to mention I keep getting late feels on the credit card because I don't get the bill until 2 weeks after it was alreadt supposedly due. I've contacted so many people about this, and nothing has been done. This place is just aweful!! Now I have to repair my furniture myself and sell it so I can pay off their card and never have buisness with them again. Read moreMy refrigerator died on Friday night while hosting a family gathering. Went to Furniture &Appliance mart on Saturday morning and Jason was super helpful. Was able to purchase a great model and he arranged for delivery on Sunday morning. Wow. Just excellent. The sales process could not have been better. However, the unit had some dents and scratches which the delivery guys pointed out and also said a service ticket had already been created for the fix. Again excellent service. My current concern is the service department is overwhelmed and I have not been able to confirm my situation as they do not return calls. As it happens I also purchased range from same manufacturer as it was on sale and existing range was on schedule for service visit. I tried several times to call to cancel service and get a refund of service deposit. On the day of service the tech did call in advance and I told him the issues.
