I was in town staying at a nearby hotel and looking for something to do with my 10 year old. They had an arcade here and I figured Pizza Buffet + Arcade for a 10 year old boy, perfect!!! This is going to be a LONG ONE, But the staff!!! My goodness the staff on a busy Friday night was TOP NOTCH. So accommodating from beginning to end. In the middle of switching out dishes the hostess saw us the second we walked in and stopped what she was doing to take position at the counter to greet us. The busser noticed us searching for a table and promptly said welcome just the 2 of you let me clear a booth and she did as her coworker also bussing stopped to take dishes so she could just wipe. She and the other guy bussing did not miss a beat checking tables, grabbing dishes, even taking the time to say goodbye to guests as they were leaving. Then we get up to the buffet line the ladies and gents swapping and cooking AMAZING. They made sure the options were rotated, requests we granted, filled as quickly as things emptied. Then we got to the arcade one kid manning the whole thing and again on a Friday night no where else to go with kids the arcade barely had wiggle room. A Machine we swiped our card at stopped working he was scanning prizes and as soon as he had a second fixed the machine in the time it took me to blink. Then when we were done and ready for our prizes I watched him be patient with a LINE of children before us as they made every decision to spend their last of their tokens. We were walking out and were told goodnight and then we realized (on a cold winter night) my son forgot his jacket after an hour in the arcade and a packed restaurant, whoops would we get it back? Well with this staff OF COURSE it was tucked safely behind the register. Seriously they did not miss a beat and deserve all the recognition for it!! The staff was so friendly and on top of everything they needed to get done. The guests were just so happy too because of the staff being on top of it all! It made the whole experience...
Read moreGreat Food, Super nice cashier and bussers. Be careful asking questions to the ticket attendant. She was rude during the interaction. My daughter was handing in the extra cards from a game she had played to redeem her tickets. We asked the attendant how many tickets she was uploading in which she responded she had no idea how many she uploaded onto our card. Then got mad when I questioned the amount of cards we handed her. My daughter is saving for a 79000 ticket prize and has almost 70000, so we try to keep track. She rolled her eyes at the end of our interaction and walked away. When we were leaving we could hear her standing by the soda machine complaining about us and questioning the ticket/card numbers. Mind you we did not walk close to her we were walking in the middle as to not be in the way of those on the sides trying to enjoy the buffet or get a drink. I personally have worked 15 years in food service and many more in just plain customer service. I find it extremely rude that she would have this conversation in earshot of other customers and employees. I get having a hard day or being stressed out and wanting to share this situation but at least do it in the back, in private out of earshot of those that are trying to enjoy themselves at your establishment and especially out of earshot of the person you are complaining about. I think it will be a long time if ever that we plan on stepping foot in the Marshfield, WI location. Obviously customer retention and a happy environment is not what all their employees...
Read moreWent there for my son's 4th birthday party. I asked one of the teenagers that was wiping down tables if they had any milk. All they have are a few choices of soda and weak coffee. The kid responded in a very degrading tone of voice after a condescending chuckle, "This isnt that kind of place" he told me. I wasnt askin for shots of whiskey. Just a glass of milk my son could wash his cake down with. It was just strange and rude. Its a buffet with a kids arcade.......but no milk? Anyway. Good pizza and fried chicken though. Awesome desert pizza. The arcade games are fun looking, but only last a few seconds. Plus the rewards dont pay well for the over priced prizes. The play card they require for playing the games is a total rip off. You're always left with 3 credits/tokens, but the games take 4. Manager had the same snotty tone as the teenager when i asked him what was up with it. $30 for two adults is a little steep for such basic buffet food and some...
