Burger King — Restaurant in Marshfield

Before reading, I'd like to note that the day staff is mostly great here. This was my experience in the evening.

I got off work at like 8ish on Halloween and didn't want to go to the store so I decided to get a burger (minus the burger, I have veggie burgers at home). They gave me a burger with the patty so I went in to get it fixed. Nope! Denied me service because they were TOO busy. Too busy as in 5 cars parked, no one in the drive thru, and no one inside in line to order. Just too busy to remake bread with vegetables on it I guess. The manager (or shift lead, not sure), Tasha, was rude and unprofessional. The cashier was perfect! She did EVERYTHING correct! I didn't grab her name but she was great. Anyways, having worked in customer service and still working in it, I would never ever say that to someone. And yes, I worked in fast food and know how it is. There is no excuse to deny someone paying to fix their meal after they chose to give you service over anywhere else. She refunded it, but it wasn't about the money. It was about the fact I was left frustrated and hungry. Went to Culvers and they made the sandwich for me and even made it cheaper than BK rang it up so...happy ending I guess. Literally all I asked for was a whopper jr w.o mayo and no meat with extra veggies. It wasn't an effort to remake it. Glad you guys didn't remake it though, because with that attitude my food probably would have...

We went through the drive thru and ordered three larger sandwiches, a hamburger, two medium fries and a medium onion ring - in addition to our drinks. The drinks were given to us in a drink carrier (which was awesome!). Then the employee handed out a “small bag” and a “large bag”. While handing out the large bag, he released his hold before I could get my second hand under it and the bag ripped spilling fries and onion rings in my lap, in the car and on the ground outside the car. He LAUGHED as he said, “Have a nice day” and closed the window. Come to find out when we arrived home, that our ENTIRE order was in the larger bag and the small bag contained what we presume is the food for the car behind us!!! Not certain why our entire order was in one bag - but even worse was his attitude and laughing at the situation! Not good customer...

Walked in and found the remodel to be a nice upgrade. Ordered, and staff had to give ice with the cups because the soda dispenser was not producing ice. Filled cup with Coke, but found it to taste flat and was actually warm. Had to walk past three tables to find a clean one. No one wiping tables or sweeping floors. We did get a fresh soda from staff from the drive-through dispenser. The order counter was sticky when I laid my money down and when I picked up our tray of food, my fingers stuck to the underside of the tray handle on the left side.

I have been a fan of the Whopper for years, but this remodel will do no good if not kept clean. The last remodel went down hill because of cleanliness.
