To George S below…I believe you left out a few key details of your experience so I thought I’d enlighten everyone since I happened to witness your disaster of a meal. First of all despite your presence, the atmosphere and ambiance of the restaurant was remarkable (clean, inviting, and quiet—AFTER you left). What I and everyone else witnessed was your loud, rude, belligerent behavior towards the wait staff. Your sushi roll was not up to your par. They attempted to accommodate and you proceeded to use vulgar language in front of not only your young child but all the other children and patrons in the restaurant. May I suggest that in the future if an item is not to your satisfaction, to simply wrap it up and bring it to a homeless person or maybe someone who is finding it difficult to purchase a $4 gallon of milk at the moment, and see if their perspective of taste is different. You were out maybe $5. Was that really worth belittling and berating the wait staff to the point that she was trembling and crying and needed to be consoled/hugged by another customer? Could you have perhaps, just decided that it wasn’t your cup of tea, graciously paid your bill with the $5 off, and not return? Instead you made a complete scene, disrupted the meals of all the other customers and more so, hurt someone who does not get paid nearly enough to deal with the likes of you. The wait staff was not deserving of that and thankfully reimbursed generously by all the other patrons. The applause from the other customers when you so boldly announced that you would never be returning to this establishment speaks volumes, don’t you think? Have a blessed day. Please...

I was staying at the hotel inn next door for a couple of weeks while I was in town for work. I had asked the locals about this place vs the other sushi restaurant nearby, and no one seems to have tried this restaurant. THEIR LOSS! What a gem this place was! It could be easily missed bc it's located in a small plaza. But once you're inside, it's more spacious than it looks from outside. Ample seating for customers. Our server, Ai (may be misspelled) was amazing! I loved this place so much, I made sure I stopped by again before I left this town. I'd ordered the Sushi and Sashimi combo for two both times here and was not disappointed. Both chef specials were great! Generously sliced sashimi. Generous sized portions. It came with soup and salads, and both were delicious! Their ginger dressing for the salad was great! I also had the squid salad and edamame for appetizers. Delicious! Hot sake was great! In my opinion, you're getting a good deal for the price you're paying! I feel like it was quite affordable for fresh sushi. I highly recommend this place for locals...

Horrible experience. Got 3 rolls, one $15 sushi roll, obviously old/cold tempura shrimp inside. Told the waitress we don’t like it. She just stared at us. Literally, then just walked away. She comes back and tells us it come off her check which is either a lie or not cool. They take the roll after a very awkward 10 minutes. Then another lady comes over and tells us she can only take off $5. They already took 1/2 the roll to the trash. We tell her that the shrimp tastes old and cold and she said oh we make fresh for every order and then she says oh we have the shrimp premade. Yeah, it’s old that’s what I said. She just mumbled she doesn’t care, walks away talking sheet. I’m now furious. I have to argue with the staff for 15 minutes to get them to take a roll off my bill that was gross. Food overall wasn’t that good, definitely not at their prices. Would never eat here again. All Over...

Stopped in with my brother and his family for some quick sushi and were pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem. The rock waterfall/ pond gives a serene atmosphere, the menu is extensive, even ing bento boxes, we had several kinds of sushi, Sakura, Chicago, volcano, the squid in the salad was a perfect texture. The sushi was excellent. I wish we had this restaurant in Southwest Michigan. Staff was efficient and friendly. Very welcoming restaurant, great food.

Words cannot express how excited I am that I found this place in Marshfield. The fish was very good, fresh and plated beautifully. They had very authentic things on the menu that are sometimes hard to find in the area. They had steamed dumplings, fried gyoza, octopus salad and even red bean mochi ice cream. Everything was very well done and the service was wonderful. I don't live in Wisconsin but my entire family does, so I will be back!
