Eggcellent Day — Restaurant in Martinsville

Usually I don't review places. And we decided to visit the new place on its Grand Opening. But come on people. 1st we show up and nobody to seat us or even take our names down. Front door was a free for all and if anyone come up to the doors podium they would look down and not make eye contact. After people started cutting, I made a point who was here 1st before we showed up. Then when we get to out table, took 15 more min to receive a cup of coffee. No silverware, etc. We waited 45 more min to order our food before we just left. I was really wanting a good place to eat breakfast since I'm a breakfast person. Opening morning on their 1st day. I understand some disorientation but at least have some kind of order. Looked like the owner was busting his . . . But can't do it all sir. Needed a host or a dining room manager. ...

Martinsville FINALLY has a breakfast spot it deserves. The food, service, and atmosphere were all awesome. The coffee was good, and I’m still thinking about that cinnamon roll… easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The breakfast tacos hit the spot, and the home fries are a must. So happy to have this new go-to in town. Can’t wait to come back!

Went back for a second time for lunch and was equally impressed! Quick service and one of the best salads I’ve had in awhile! Apples, goat cheese, pecans, and chicken that was...

We got tired of the same ol same ol here in Martinsville. We decided to be adventurous and try this new place that just opened. We were blown away! The food was amazing! I ordered the classic burger with a fried egg, my husband ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. Both were so tasty and delicious. The place was simple and had the home town feeling. Lots of great servers. We will be coming back every weekend...
