Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Maryland Heights

This has to be one of the worst Chick-Fil-A’s in the country. I visit CFA all around the United States - and I’m telling you I eat CFA way too much - probably 10x a week.

My hash browns always taste like they have been fried in oil that is about a year old. It’s horrible. The inside is setup super weird. There’s no reason for it to- did the owner/operator not ever visit a CFA before ever opening this place?

The drive thru- there is one lane for mobile and one for regular BUT then they merge and there’s really no point in doing a mobile order! Today I came inside and waited over 10 minutes to be waited on and 10 mins for my food which is WAY below CFA standards in my opinion. The manager is NOT friendly with a scowl on her face as if I inconvenienced her by walking in here.

When you go thru the drive through, they want to take your phone inside the store and then scan the phone. I don’t want you touching my phone, much less how many other phones have you touched before you touched my drink. There is no normal CFA flow at this restaurant and this is after many visits. Every time I come here I kick myself for coming here! It’s the WORST. Im giving you an extra star in hopes they can fix the problem and I’ll update my review later. Also, they do not hand you your drink like traditional CFAs do, been waiting now almost 15 mins for breakfast and no drink or food yet. I guess they are worried about...

Edit May 2024: Went back a couple more times and they're on top of things again! Orders were correct and given to us less than 5 minutes! Fresh fries and sandwiches! Back to being my favorite chick fil a branch ✨️

Edit Apr 2024: So, the last 3 recent visits here my order was always wrong (the cashier took it correctly so it wasn't that, but every single time it gets to our table - it's wrong and so next time I really hope they're a bit more careful about it because it wasn't like this before (see old review).. I'm not trying to be picky with food, I just have certain food intolerances (I really wished I didn't but it's out of my control)...I'll still go back to see if anything changes, but if not I might just have to find a different place to order from.

I've also noticed that there are times when the place isn't as clean unlike before. There would be spilled food/crumbs on the chairs and and some sticky drink residue on the tables.

Old review: This is my fave branch of Chick-fil-a. I always have to remove some ingredients from my order due to certain food intolerances and they've always gotten my order correct and I really appreciate it! The staff are always upbeat and friendly and I love how even though there's music playing in the speakers it's not so loud that it makes my ears hurt. Came in Saturday night 02/24/24 and the Night shift managers were very disrespectful to employees. Yelling and talking down to them even though the employees under them were working hard and at expectations. Both managers had behavior that was very childish and immature. They were both very adamant about harshly rushing customers out of the restaurant before 10pm and were even rushing the employees to be done early before 10pm. The food was good but I'm sad to say that what my husband and I both witnessed that night was truly unsettling and disturbing to say the least. Never have we ever witnessed what we saw until now at a Chick-fil-a and hope that the owner can get to the bottom of this and hold these managers accountable for their actions and behavior. There are so many people out there that are so much more deserving of a manager job title at your chick-fil-a and would be so blessed and honored to have it and not behave the way those 2 ladies did. I'm so sad to leave this review as the food here at this particular location is very good and the day staff always seems to be on top of it and great, but something told me in my spirit I needed to post this.
