I like what I like! šŸ“Nawabi Hyderabad House, 12664 Dorsett Rd, Maryland Heights MO 63043 But if you have a suggestion for a dish I should try next time, leave it in the comments! Nawabi Hyderabad House STL is named after the Indian city of Hyderabad and modeled after its spices and flavors. Known for a diverse selection of biryanis, a rice dish with meat/vegetables and spices, this restaurant is one of 45+ locations worldwide, and offers Indian, American and Chinese fusion cuisine. This location opened recently in Fall 2024. ST. LOUIS… this Indian food is on another level šŸ˜®ā€šŸ”„šŸ‡®šŸ‡³ Nawabi Hyderabad House is bringing royal flavors, bold spices, and real heat. If you love biryani or Indian food done RIGHT—this is a must. #S#StLouisEatsS#STLFoodS#stlouisfoodie #missourieats

When you walk in , the place is eye-dazzling, clean, spacious ... and that is where the good stuff ends. The food is really bad. We had street noodles, chicken korma, and butter Naan. Butter Naan was crunchy and not the best, but the korma was a disaster. I had the server come over to confirm if the dish I was served was in fact, chicken korma, and she confirmed it with no doubts. The gravy had a darker tint, the flavor was of South Indian spice mix like those of Guntur chicken or something along those areas, while I ordered a dish which is of Mughlai Origins from North part of India. The onion gravy was not a nut base as it should have been. We barely ate half of our food and we decided not to take it home with us since it was too bad as is. I'm really curious if they are trying to trick Americans with a vibrant menu with options while serving the same gravy on multiple curries, because no one normally buys 4 different curries on one table. The quality of the food was mid, quantity was small, and price was premium. I could get better food, with more quantity, more authentic, and a nicer taste at several other Indian restaurants I know. The servers spoke such poor English that my American friend struggled to talk with them because they would say "yes" and do something else entirely. The service was poor overall. The servers were not attentive and did not even check if the dish served was correct when I inquired. They also never checked if I was enjoying it. They seemed like they were not experienced in food service, and I hope they were legally working there, because I was on a student visa too, and we cannot legally work off campus for such jobs and I worked food service on-campus but people did break rules a lot then too. The over all experience was extremely poor. I would NEVER return here with so many better alternatives. My money could've been used in better ways than that.

Best restaurant ever I have ever visited in St.louis. The best service I actually got compared to other Indian restaurants. Being honest in the reviews why people want to just spread the negativity? You guys are calling for three times and if they don’t answer the phone doesn’t mean that they are not interested in taking orders. The restaurant is super super busy whenever you go. Everyone carries mobile phone, talks to the customer seated and still try to take calls and take orders. Everyone out there are trying to impress each individual visiting or trying their restaurants. I have seen a review regarding door dash. Seriously guys you don’t really know how backend works and just post the review without any idea. If a dasher picks the food and doesn’t confirm the order it means the dasher has taken your food and trying ti scam you. Please reach out to online service you are ordering through because neither restaurant has access as it is through third party service. If these people have the access third party is not gonna gain money. Order through restaurant website if you really want to get refund from restaurant or just directly contact the online ordering platform. I have seen people out there running from one customer to other trying to remember everyone’s needs and serve everyone best as possible. You guys never been to service industry so just don’t pass the comments without even trying to understand the circumstances and situations. As far as I have tried it is the best restaurant in terms of food and service. I have tried other restaurants where the owner comes and tells on face to just leave the restaurant if you don’t like the food. There are restaurants they come, tell me wait time is 40 minutes as the kitchen is busy where the restaurant only has 4 tables to serve. So don’t just spread the hatred. Just for the information I am neither way related to the restaurant. I love this restaurant and I am a big foodie. If I love a restaurant I will love everyone talking good about it. I agree food taste is getting changed but the service, guys seriously those poor kiddos are giving their best. I see that every time, so just don’t...

Update: This administration is so dumb calling people’s feedback as fake. These are my orders. And every time I had tried different items thinking there might be some difference as some items are good and some might not be in restaurants. And even I tried dine-in thinking online orders might be something different. I even mentioned the serving person the same feedback. She just mentioned that okay I’ll inform. But, there is no improvement and every time it was bad and as I’ve mentioned, the below one was my last online order from this place and one direct visit. After this, did not even dare to look for menu for this restaurant. Having good ambience does not fill stomach. It is the food that does.

Management needs to value people’s feedback rather than calling it fake. Also you cannot say this is fake as I see there are many reviews about the same items mentioned below.

Online orders: Royyala vepudu: came in as royyala curry and having too much spice despite placing the order for mild Curd rice: good Veg keema: Stale food and stomach upset Vjw spl chicken biryani: Spicier than I have ever eaten which is in a bad way to stomach and throat. Tasted like you spill raw red chilly powder on the masala directly. Gongura chicken biryani: Not good, again more spice level and no taste of gongura Veg fried rice: Stale rice and rice is very hard to eat and not good taste. Dine in order: Masakali Chicken biryani - Chicken tasted like stale and not good. Monagadi: Not so good taste wise but the food is okay.

Original: Worst food ever. First time I’m saying some food as a complete low grade food. Three times I had ordered from here thinking I might be wrong the previous time and all three times I had food poisoning. They provide stale food and irregular spice levels. Not at all good to have for anyone’s stomach. I don’t understand how they got 4.4 in google. Might be all fake reviews. I’m surprised how can someone make such a low grade food in such a good ambience. Never ever try this at-least for once. Trying here third time is the utmost stupid thing I...
