You could say this is minor complaint, but as food prices rise in this era of Biden inflation it is not a minor issue to me. My bill with this Chinese food restaurant has within a year increased from 25% to 30% given inflation is at a macroeconomic level is at 8.5%, which is totally unacceptable to me. As early at this time last year, you could purchase an order of a Spring Roll for $1.80 for TWO rolls, i.e., at $.90 each. Now this place is charging $2.10 for ONLY ONE of these itsy-bitsy, teeny-tiny rolls, which amount to an price increase of a 230% per little bitty spring roll. When they are asked how many per order they tell you one per order now, but less than a year ago a single of spring roll was two spring roll again for $1.80 or $0.90 per roll NOT $2.10 per roll. Either they are screwing the customer when you pay the bill, or it's a shell game when you call and pick up the order, or the front clerk has no idea what they're doing and charging incorrectly. Will we be back? Doubtful. There are plenty of Chinese food carry-out restaurants that have their act together and not in the business of screwing or misleading...
Read moreAn okay Chinese place, not the best or worst I've had. We ordered chicken lo mein, sweet n sour chicken and pepper beef onion. The order was quickly prepared, told about a 10 min wait and they were nice. The food was warm but as many have said lacks any flavor. My husband's beef n peppers was swimming in soy sauce so that was the only flavor. The lo mein I thought was kind of tasteless but ended up having the most flavor. The sweet n sour chicken with fried rice, wasn't terrible but the chicken was tiny, tasteless hard nuggets and the sweet n sour sauce was really heavy. And the fried rice.... was just yellow colored white rice. I really feel like the food is probably frozen and just deep fried and store bought sauce thrown on top for any flavor. I'm not sure how much goes into food preparation and if it's more just...
Read morePretty good food with a convenient location. I ordered sweet and sour chicken tonight and found that it only came with chicken, sauce, and rice, with no vegetables or pineapple. I thought that was pretty weird, since the picture had vegetables and pineapple, which is the only way I've ever seen it served. I called the store and they said that's just how they do it, but you can ask for the vegetables and pineapple. Not a huge deal, but you might want to ask when you order your meal what it comes with, even if it shows it one way in a photo in the restaurant, because you might find it different than your expectations. I just can't imagine someone not wanting pineapple, onions, and peppers with their sweet and...
