I regularly order the avocado toast and peppermint patty on Saturdays during my work shift. Today, the egg was runny when I requested medium and the same thing happened last Saturday. So for the first time, I took it back, politely asking if it could be remade. It wasn’t remade. The eggs were hard, the bread was soggy and it was thrown together. It was not their normal presentation. I decided to just chalk it up as an off day for them and request my money back. They are already overpriced and I didn’t want to waste my money if I wasn’t going to eat it. The owner/manager told me she would do it this time but don’t order the toast anymore. She questioned why I had a problem with my order because everyone likes this item on the menu. I do agree it’s a tasty item on the menu which is the reason I was ordering it all the time. The tone in her voice was very rude and she was visibly angry at my request. She didn’t take any ownership of the avocado toast not being made to my order. The two young girls at the counter apologized and were pleasant. They keep this place in business. However, the owner has the nastiest attitude. Her customer service was terribly poor. I told her I would do her even better and never order from this place again. The business would not be there if the owner has to provide customer service. I had to write this review because it’s not okay to conduct business with such a bad attitude in the way the owner did. No stars from me👎🏼 I didn’t want to tap...
Read moreI am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience at Bagel Bin. As someone who rarely eats out, I was excited to treat myself to an expensive pistachio slice dessert costing $6.00. Unfortunately, upon consuming the dessert, I discovered that it contained mold.
This experience highlights a broader issue that I believe many restaurants, including Bagel Bin should take note of: the importance of eliminating items from the menu that are no longer selling or are past their prime. Rather than focusing on greed by continuing to serve items that should be discarded, restaurants should prioritize customer satisfaction and health. Many establishments are aware that cutting costs often leads to overcharging customers or maintaining poor-quality products, which results in the deterioration of both the reputation and the business itself. This is nothing new.
It is crucial for restaurants to learn from the mistakes of others, as the constant overcharging and neglect of hygiene are some of the key reasons businesses close their doors. Also, nothing new. I strongly encourage reviewing the food quality control practices and ensuring that customers are served only the best,...
Read moreTried to support a local business during trying times. Placed a simple phone order for a plain toasted cream cheese bagel. Went to pick up paying with a credit card and the gentleman explained that I could only pay with cash because I didn’t meet the minimum for credit. I didn’t have cash, and the order wasn’t ready so I cancelled and was on my way. After walking to my car I thought about it further and decided to give them a call back. I spoke to the same man and just made a recommendation that based on my order he knew I didn’t meet the credit requirement and it would’ve been nice to know prior to showing up. He didn’t care for the feedback and hung up on me not once but twice. To be completely honest this establishment is waaaaay overpriced and the customer service doesn’t even come close to make up for it. Went across the street to Dunkin Donuts. I will not return...
