Review of The Common Kitchen in Clarksville, MD:

My first visit to The Common Kitchen in Clarksville, MD, was an absolute delight! As I stepped inside, I was immediately drawn in by the vibrant and bustling atmosphere. The aroma of various ethnic cuisines filled the air, promising a culinary adventure unlike any other. The concept of having multiple ethnic restaurants under one roof is genius, offering a diverse array of flavors and experiences to satisfy every palate. The decor was modern and inviting, providing the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience. From Indian to Nepalese to Korean cuisine, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The Common Kitchen truly embodies the spirit of community and diversity, and I can't wait to return to explore more of its culinary offerings.

Review of MOMO Hub:

Located within The Common Kitchen is MOMO Hub, a haven for lovers of authentic Nepalese dumplings. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a treat. The aroma of freshly steamed momos wafted through the air, teasing my senses and whetting my appetite. The menu boasted an impressive selection of dumplings, each more tempting than the last. For my first visit, I opted for the Chicken Jhol Momo and indulged in the Chocolate Sauce Barfi Momo for dessert. The Chicken Jhol Momo was a burst of flavor, with tender chicken enveloped in a savory broth, while the Chocolate Sauce Barfi Momo was a delightful fusion of sweet and savory, satisfying my sweet tooth in the most unexpected way. Each bite was a culinary masterpiece, leaving me eager to explore more of what MOMO Hub has to offer.

Positive review of food, service provided by Shalini, and ambiance:

I cannot sing enough praises for the food, service, and ambiance at The Common Kitchen. Shalini, our server, was an absolute delight. Her warm demeanor and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home, and her extensive knowledge of the menu helped us navigate the plethora of options available. The food itself was a revelation, with each dish expertly crafted and bursting with flavor. From the aromatic spices of Indian cuisine to the comforting flavors of Korean BBQ, every bite was a culinary journey that left me craving more. The ambiance of the restaurant was lively and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. Whether you're a seasoned foodie or simply looking to explore new flavors, The Common Kitchen is a must-visit destination that promises to delight and satisfy even the most...

There's a lot of positive things to mention about the common kitchen aside from the food! It's a food hall with multiple stalls that all share one common kitchen in the back. This means that restauranteurs can be nimble and experimental without a large capital outlay to test out menus. You'll find various foods, all high quality. The stalls seem to change every now and then, so be sure to check out the website to see what's there now. The building is clean and well maintained, with non gendered bathrooms that everyone can use. Parking is easy and ample, if you have an electric vehicle there are free level 2 chargepoint chargers on site. Each vendor also has a dry goods shelf you can browse. The international flavors available here are impressive, definitely try it out if you are tired of the same old food. Many, if not all have a vegetarian option. I had a beyond meat bahn mi (Ahn Mi), Bombay Bhel (Namaste foodie) and my wife got the Falafel and Potato platter (Khoshary). All Extremely good!

Other places to try with a similar concept are: R. House in Remington, Baltimore City The Hub in Ellicott city Lexington Market in Baltimore City Beseto in Cartonsville Union Station in DC

I know I'll definitely be back to the common kitchen to try the...

Common Kitchen is a food hall in Clarksville. As the name indicates, there are various food stalls surrounding a common central kitchen. If you look at the arrangement, each stall seems to have what they need right behind them so there probably isn't as much intermingling between the shops but I imagine there is some. I came to this location for the Taco Joint and it was delicious. But seeing all the other vendors impressed me. I can bring my family here and everyone can make their own choice. The following food vendors are there now:

Taco Joint Blowfish Poke Trifecto Mochi-Mochi Tasty Empanadas Koshary Corner Royal Tea Anh-mazing

What in the around the world cuisine did I just walk into? I was in the mood for appetizers. So, I went with the following: A Beef Empanada from Tasty Empanadas - this is as fresh and homemade as it gets. A Strawberry Shortcake doughnut from Mochi-Mochi - chewy, different and tasty. Vegetable Samosas from Namaste Foodie. Fluffy, stuffed, and a nice spicy kick. Pork rou Jia mo from J's Asian Street Food. Spicy and just outright fresh. Everything was very tasty and interesting. There are plenty of other places to come back to try more. I like fresh, scratch, and just really good. Come check this place out! A must try!
