Worst grocery store I've ever been in - AND A HUGE FIRE HAZARD. Accidentally decided this place may have Numi turmeric tea and it would be a quick stop. Boy was I wrong! As soon as we walked in, I started feeling sick from the smell. The entrance was blocked by slowly blundering shoppers, the whole tea rack was blocked by a seller there to sell tea scented body lotion - who had 3-4 shoppers with her and no joke wouldn't move so people could get tea. Tried to leave and no joke there was no safe way to leave. The registers are very tightly packed at the door such that, with he carts, you cannot get out of this place without waiting in a line of shoppers. I can't imagine that this is up to fire codes, I felt incredibly unsafe climbing around people just to escape. Horrible. Really scary. I don't care what they're selling in there, the way they e set up the store is...

Ugh! I don’t typically post bad reviews but when shopping this location please make sure all your items are in your bag. I regularly go to this location because it’s the closest. I went for soup and I purchased a few other items. I travel to get this location at least 20 mins and to get home and realize the one thing I went to get was not in my bag is not good. I called and the manager was less than empathetic given I drove such a long way only to told that they would refund the cost of the soup. For such an oversight I should be compensated for the time and effort. So buyer beware check and make sure your items are in the bag. These cashiers are distracted by their phones. The team members at Roots are INCREDIBLE. They are helpful, friendly, and go out of there way to get you what you're looking for. They are VERY responsive on social, even offering to place special orders for you through IG messenger (whaaat?!). They also carry the MOST vegan options of ANY grocery store I've ever been to (they far surpass WFM which, in my opinion, carries less vegan grocery options than my local Giant and Food Lion). The store is clean, well organized, and almost always fully stocked (we drive about an hour to get there, so it's got to be worth our while). Roots is our guilty pleasure, and we genuinely enjoy every trip (especially when we discover a new vegan product!). THANK YOU, Roots Market team.
