EVERY.....SINGLE....TIME we go to this location there is an issue. At first we chalked it up to their location being new , but now it's clear that there is no training and they simply dont know how to provide good service. I would blame it on the "kids" that work there but I believe that if you're going to have young adults run your business they should be properly trained and have someone there to lead them to show them how to properly run a businesss. The issues we have encountered, to literally just name a few 1) I asked for a Lava cake Sunday and was told they don't make them, only for me to point out the sign to the staff person. I was advised they didn't even have lava cakes. I went back 3 weeks in a row (we like B&R ice cream) and each time they didn't have them. 2) I have watched staff talk on their phones while guests were being ignored 3) always out of product. (In our visits they have been out of lava cakes, brownies, spoons, hot finger and caramel). Tonight we arrived around 9:15 (they close at 10) and the ice cream was covered. They offered to take our order anyway. I ordered my cone and a to go bowl for my son, they filled my order and covered all the ice cream back up and directed me to pay at the register before my husband could even speak his order. He was so annoyed with constant issues that he decided he wasn't giving them anymore business and he didn't get his ice cream. They didn't have lids for my sons bowl, and there were no spoons out. Read moreMy family always gets the wrong orders when we come here, the workers always get confused every time, they don’t have any flavors we ask for. Today, I ordered a double scoop and one of the scoops was half the size of a regular scoop I usually get, and when I went back to show them the size of the ice cream, the lady was upset and gave an attitude and she said she had been working there for 3 years and the size of the scoops are the same, but it’s not. I’ve came to this baskin robins and other Baskin robins and the scoops are never small like this scoop. She asked if I wanted another scoop but she said “this is only time I’m going to do this for you.” I’m not begging for another scoop I’m just trying to advise them that the size of the scoop is unacceptable. When I said I don’t want another scoop (because I see her attitude) she said “Okay, thank you” and then she shut the window immediately and left. I have my daughter next to me 12 years old and she said, “she has an attitude, she’s being rude.” This situation is unsustainable and I’m giving up on going to this Baskin robins, after so many times of coming here and always getting the order wrong. The owner of this Baskin robins needs to do something about this and needs to pay attention. I’ve been a customer of Baskin robins for over 20 years and this place is new and it’s sad to look at Baskin robins now and seeing it getting worse, day by day. Read moreMy family and I visited this location in the Westview Shopping Center in Frederick last night . I’ve been in many Baskin and Robbins over the years beginning in Virginia in 1974 and have always enjoyed their ice cream . I have to say our visit tonight was an exception to those positive experiences. First , many of the ice creams were missing labels and those that had labels were incorrect . When asked , the server couldn’t identify the flavor . Were they not properly trained by management? The ice cream was pretty soft and she couldn’t even give us a proper size scoop so we definitely didn’t feel we got our monies worth . On top of all this she didn’t even know what a cake cone or sprinkles were when requested. Again , it appeared to be a lack of proper training . I like so many of the Baskin and Robins ice cream flavors and have previously enjoyed visiting their other establishments , but, tonight was a big disappointment.
