Bubba's 33 — Restaurant in Maryland

We eat at Bubba’s 33 restaurant quite a bit. We usually have pretty good service, & always great food! However we went out this Sunday, with a few friends & our kids.. to celebrate my boyfriend getting a really great raise at work! We also received a couple gift cards and coupons etc for Bubba’s for Christmas; because it’s my boyfriends favorite restaurant, if I had to pick one for him this would be it! Haha; it’s always our go to, we do date nights, birthdays, family dinners, some holidays, celebrate milestones, etc.. you can do it all at Bubba’s!! The reason I wanted to leave this review was because of our waitress!! She was outstanding! Truly! I mean the best waitress I’ve ever had at Bubba’s let alone any restaurant we’ve ever been to. She was very attentive, she was on top of her game, she was kid friendly, knowledgeable, polite, funny, & kind… she did things we didn’t even think to ask… when we order drinks for the kids they typically bring us the big glasses with their drinks in them, not her she brought us the plastic kids cups with the lids & straws, one because well kids, & two because they are free.. which I wasn’t aware of. She also paid attention to all of our orders with detail. She came to the table plenty to make sure everything was good, when my boyfriends chili came out they put onions on it and he asked for it with his meal.. she immediately took the chili and had that handled and then when they brought my salad out it had goat cheese on it and I had asked them to sub it with cheddar.. I didn’t even see my salad, she looked and saw that it had the wrong cheese and she said I’m so sorry I’m sending this back now and having them fix it.. I mean I’ve literally never had a waitress that attentive.. She was so great, I called back later that night to get her name so I could make sure I put it in the review! I hope I did get the right name.. I described the area we sat, and told them the time we were there, & they told me her name was Hannah! So Hannah; I hope that is your name; thank you so much for your service! You made our night very enjoyable!!! We are super happy that you were our waitress!!! & I think every server/waitress should take some lessons from Hannah because again her service was impeccable all night, she was on point. She had a table of 4 adults, 2 children & 2 toddlers.. & she did a great job!!!

Thank you for being such a great server for us!! We truly appreciate you!!! & hope to get you next time we eat at Bubba’s!!!! Keep up the awesome work!!!

& of course the food was ON POINT .. outside of the ingredients not being changed per the order request when the order was first put in.. but that in now way was our servers fault! That was probably just a busy cooking staff, that didn’t see the changes listed.. nothing that couldn’t be easily...

Overall, Bubba's 33 is a solid, enjoyable restaurant. It's 4 out of 5 stars simply for two reasons: noise and booths. We were seated in the bar area in a booth and it was uncomfortably loud (both music and other guests), and the booth seats were so wide that we had to sit very far forward to enjoy our meals. These aren't deal-breakers though, but something to consider. The booth was massive, good for about 6 people. We had a hard time hearing each other from both the music and other guests. This wouldn't be my choice for a date night, but for a weekend lunch while you're out and about it's a really great choice.

For $57 (plus tip) we had the combo appetizer (wings, mozzarella sticks and a ton of fried pickles), the creamy Chipotle pasta, one black bean burger with fries and two soft drinks. Lots of food for a good price! The appetizer was very good, but so many pickles yet only four mozzarella sticks and three boneless wings - it almost felt like the kitchen ran out of those items so they made 3x as many pickles to make up for it. The pasta was tasty and spicy. The black bean burger was fantastic! Homemade veggie burgers can be iffy but Bubba's 33 has a delicious recipe. The burger was huge and blackened on the grill. Also, the ranch and barbecue sauce were excellent.

Our server, Bre'Auna, was lovely and so sweet. She checked on us multiple times, refilled drinks and engaged in polite chitchat. I'd absolutely sit in her section again.

This was our second time here and we'd gladly return! Thank you Bubba's 33 and Bre'Auna for a tasty lunch on this...

Anyway , just moved to Maryland a month ago not yet familiar but had a busy day at chiropractor, DMV today at 1pm then PNC bank online problems . Decided to use restroom next door because PNC bank don’t have restroom so I figure to use bubba restroom I have to buy something . I bought take out wings then seen $5 margaritas so I’m like I should wait at bar because I want wings fried hard just sitting around . The funny thing is I’m not a drinking as I’m a CO-Occurring therapist and start tomorrow helping the Youth who struggle with mental health and drugs . I save lives for a living and I have a JaiLUXTRANSIT BUSINESS I HOLD A CDL-A so drinking is not something I do. I have a 2025 suv and will be driving the company vehicle to any crisis situation any way Brittany of 7 years manager refuse to serve me .I normally have my service dog and get bother a lot but today I didn’t have her as Brittany could of triggered an episode which if I would of snapped from her not liking how I talk thinking Im drunk I could of went off on her then she would of called police and their the ones who trigger an episode . So I don’t know if she is racist which I believe because I didn’t have service dog which I’m normally discriminated against for having her . This wasn’t the case so I’m going blame it on my race which is still discrimination and I normally sue . Brittany needs to be fired for refusing me service as she don’t have enough schooling and neither does the police.
