It should be illegal to call their "mac and cheese", "Mac and cheese".. it's basically oil covered noodles Pit beef sandwich was bland and chewy, your half and half tea is garbage tea mix with half a lemon in it, also very bland and watered down Waited 30 minutes for 3 sandwiches, 1 order of fries and 2 mac and oils Go out of business if you can't do it right. You all should be embarrassed Edit: I went to chaps today to get mac n cheese to compare.. see pictures; Chaps mac n cheese pic is labeled

It's kind of what you'd expect from a roadside Pit Beef stand. I ordered the pit beef sandwich with horseradish, onion, and mayo. The bun was large and didn't fall apart in my hand. The meat itself was generous, though a bit dry and sinewy and not as flavorful as I hoped. And while I ordered it medium rare, the meat came out medium. The onions were finely chopped red onions. They were flavorful. French fries were solid.

5 star - ribs, pulled pork sandwich, beach fries, baked beans, and 1/2 and 1/2 3 star - BBQ chicken breast, coleslaw, and Mac and cheese Avoid the 3 star items and you’ll have an unforgettable meal.

Tried this joint today for the first time and it was amazing. I got the Samitch, which is a brisket and pulled pork sammich and oh my Lord is it amazing. The flavors are on point. The bbq sauce is tangy with a little kick. I saved some to take home to my wife because I knew she would HAVE to try it. Even cold it was still a wow. Also got the big daddy fries and it was definitely large. Flavor was good but some ketchup and/or vinegar would have been better to have been included. The wings were middle of the road, nothing special, and certainly not worth the high price. The pit beef was also good, though considerably smaller than my Samitch, which I found odd. Otherwise a good spot with outdoor seating. I'll definitely be back...

I've been eating here for over 20 years and it's still absolutely amazing to this day or better than ever I think. This is a local gem of a true classic pit style bbq. Very friendly people that work here also. One of my favorites to get is a pit turkey/pit beef 50/50 combo sandwich which they stuff high with meat on a huge tasty and perfect bun that exceeds what you thought you may get. Truly happy they're still doing great business and have lots of locals that know to go here and not to chain bbq corporate places. Outdoor seating or take to go. Best part is the price is also very reasonable bc that big sandwich is about 10$ and I'm as full as could be even...

Stopped by in hope of finding a place that actually rivals Pioneer Pitbeef. Service was great and friendly while the atmosphere felt nostalgic to the roadside bbq I’ve grown up with. The sandwiches were very juicy and tender as we had our meat medium rare-rare (the right way), unfortunately it didn’t have much flavor so I’d get it with some salt and pepper, fries were cooked well but lacked some seasoning as well, sweet tea was great and refreshing. The Mac n cheese unfortunately was a let down with it tasting of noodles with little to no cheese flavor which result in the 3. Overall, friendly people, nice atmosphere and great portions for a fair price....
