QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Cockeysville

This location is very clean and welcoming. You are met with smiles and good energy right when you walk into the door. The location also has a great open view with many windows. The cook was very attentive with the food and also patient when I was ordering as I ordered a lot. Big burrito for a big guy.

This venue has clean floors, clean bathrooms, clean eating areas and most importantly, the cooking area is clean as well. The food is cooked where you can see it and it tastes fresh.

Not only is the inside pleasant but there is also an outdoor area where you can eat at a table with umbrellas for shade. Very nice atmosphere, food, and service. It’s worth every penny! Definitely stop by for a great experience and not just good food.

Today is Day 2 and the food was just as good as before. The portions are the perfect size and I’m leaving as satisfied as the first time. Special shout out to Gaby for being able to roll my burrito as I like to stuff my burritos to the max. I also want to recognize Caren and Ventura for their pleasant demeanor and warm smiles.

On August 9, 2025, at 8:00 PM, my wife and I visited the new Qdoba at 10005 York Road, Cookeville, MD. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning due to an unpleasant experience driven by the manager’s behavior and the restaurant’s acoustics.The high ceiling, lacking sound-absorbing panels, amplified noise from behind the counter, creating an echo that reverberated into the dining area. While the general employee chatter was tolerable, the manager’s conduct made the atmosphere unbearable. She avoided eye contact with customers, turning away immediately after processing payments to engage in loud conversations with staff. Her voice, just short of screaming, dominated the space and persisted throughout our visit. Combined with the echoing environment, it felt like a torture chamber.The manager showed no interest in customer service, prioritizing personal conversations over acknowledging patrons. While the food was slightly better than Chipotle’s, the portions were small, and this redeeming quality wasn’t enough to offset the experience. I hadn't been to Qdoba in years, but I often drive past their new location on York Road. On a whim, we decided to stop by, and I'm so glad we did! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Ventura took our order, and when we were considering the tortilla soup, he offered us a sample—so delicious! We ordered the 3 tacos and the cheese-crusted quesadilla. The food was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care.

Ventura checked in on us during our meal and even brought complimentary chips and salsa. When we couldn’t finish our food, he packed it up and gave us fresh chips to go. Our experience at this Qdoba was fantastic—I highly recommend...
