We made our reservation on Resy about an hour before and arrived approximately 15 minutes early. We were greeted by Johnny (spelling?) who was very friendly, respectful and was immediately able to seat us. As we walked to our table, I requested if there was any outdoor seating available. Johnny was able to accommodate our last minute request and seated us at a small two-top right on the railing, overlooking the lively neighborhood.

Our waitress was very friendly and she was very attentive to our table until about halfway through where she was no where to be seen. Another, also welcoming, staff member assisted us with drinks and eventually our check.

Between ordering drinks and receiving them was about 15 minutes total. Our last one almost didn’t come until we asked for the check. However, it was well worth the wait as the gin specialty drink was PERFECT and the lavender vodka cocktail was bursting with flavor without being too sweet! Definitely recommend.

The food was great. The duck poutine fries were cooked medium and had enough gravy to enjoy some left over fries. The Perch Burger was crafted well and tasted a little more than your average burger. The miso salmon was also juicy and the glaze truly made the dish pop! I think next time I will have the herb roasted chicken as that sounded really good and I saw one pass by.

Overall, great experience and great atmosphere. Johnny was a stellar host that went above and beyond. The manger was very accommodating and made our dining experience enjoyable. Holly was very friendly and the other server who helped us at the end was very efficient and helpful as well.

Try City Perch out. It’s a great place with a lounge-like atmosphere with good eats and...

What I love about this place is a particular dish, what I dislike is the inconsistency. One day you get great service, the next it’s mediocre. I went there at 3:55 pm and the bar and restaurant were closed. I was told by a manager that the bar would be open at 4pm. So I think, cool, I can wait 5 minutes. Fast forward and I’m waiting til 4:20 pm and nothing. The bartender, Marcus is just taking his time getting done what ever he’s doing behind the bar… while I just sit in the waiting area without anyone updating me. I asked the host if I could place a To-GO order, she stated to do so at the bar. I asked how, if the bar is “closed”. She said why is the bar closed… I said, that’s my question too. I asked if she could ask the bartender if I could place a TO-GO order because he seems like he doesn't want to be bothered. She asks him and he says yes. I placed the order… but soon after canceled, because I decided to not give my money to an establishment that felt it was ok to have a patron waiting without any update when the bar is empty. As a former bartender, we open we we say we open and we get things done throughout our shift that we’re not able to be completely done prior to doors opening. We would never have patrons waiting while we take our sweet time. How do I know Marcus’s name…. one day his service wasn’t stellar… one day it was… that day, he provided his name. Unfortunately, yesterday… it was less than stellar as well. Just some communication as to why I’m waiting and when I could expect to have a seat at an empty bar for a restaurant that is open… would have gone a long way. Very disappointed as I certainly visited this...

My wife and I were blindly looking for a nice restaurant. We decided to check out the new Pike and Rose. We parked in the Garage . It's free for the first two hours and a dollar for the third, etc. Not expensive .

We saw this place and the one across the street and decided to try this one, guess they win the curl appeal points .Once we was it was upstairs and next to the theater we hesitated, but there was nice live jazz and the place looked classy .

Once seated we were served. Fabiola recommended a few dishes .We went with the duck recommendation and it was the star of the show. Outstanding dish! The tuna appetizer was very fresh .All the plates were skillfully crafted with amazing ingredients . The bread was very good. The house Pinot Grigio was delicious! Please add creme brulee on the desert menu!! But, the raspberry desert wasnice too for those who prefer tart deserts.

Fabiola couldn't have been a better server .She was spot on! She made great recommendations, was personable and attentive. She was obviously a highly skilled server and this was a well managed place. The lighting was perfect and the place was very clean .

I highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning with friends and family .They had two, or maybe more, rooms with large tables for larger parties .Seems like the perfect place for my next birthday! Honestly, between the atmosphere, the experience our server provided and the food, this is one of my top 3 in the area.

Such a prime location. It sits right next to the iPic movie theater, a bunch of hip shops, high-end stores, and fancy restaurants. The decor of this place was also something to take notice as well as the beautiful ambiance and warmly lit room. But unfortunately, that's all the restaurant had to it. You'll wait a long time for food that is sub-par. I say the food is deceptively good because of how "fancy" the restaurant brands itself. I came here for dinner over the weekend and it was packed. Both this restaurant and the area. Typical on a Saturday night. When we got inside I was fascinated by how nice the inside was. Thankfully we had reservations or else we would have had to wait a few hours to get seated. We sat in the back and waited some time for our waitress to come by and take our orders. She was very nice and worked with my dairy allergy. She put a note into the kitchen. Our food came out roughly 30 minutes later. It was hot and yummy looking. I ordered their famous chicken dish (photo attached). My first bite, I cut a long piece of chicken out and inserted into my mouth. It was very juicy and hot. It had good taste. I was excited for the rest of my meal. But for some reason, it went downhill from there. The more I dug through, the drier the chicken became. It started to lose its taste and wasn't as savory as that first bite. Also, the cauliflower was very rough. For something that was over $20, I was expecting a larger portion and a better tasting chicken. I would give a lower star rating if not for our cool waitress. The food is definitely not worth the price.

We went to eat before seeing Captain Marvel and we had set a reservation on OpenTable but when we arrived there were no tables because of an HP event. So the hostess says we can sit at the bar or the high tops along the window, where someone would come around to take our order. First, after about 6 minutes, no one comes around to give us a menu until I was about to just go up to the bar someone finally came up and got our drink order and gave us a menu. We got our drink pretty fast. Then after 15 minutes we had to find the same lady that helped us to let her know we wanted to put in our food order. We get our food, the shrimp and grits, and we see the lady that was helping us grab her purse and leaves. So then we wanted drinks and our check so we could take our drinks into the theater but the bartender was busy, so then there was nobody around to help us. So I go and ask the hostess if this is really table service or do we go up to the bar to order. She ensured us it was table service and apologized and started making excuses for the staff being busy but I was watching what was going on. They were just mostly standing around waiting for their shifts to end. So before she kept going on I said, look you can send someone over to us or we will just leave and it pay. So then someone immediately comes over, and he was great but why did I have to go through all of that before I got decent service? The shrimp and grits were okay, I thought the grits themselves were bland, the mushrooms that were on them helped add the flavor but there wasn’t enough to help balance the dish out.
