Doc & Annie's Liquor Store — Restaurant in Maryland

Speaking as an entrepreneur as well as the owner & manager of a MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR FRANCHISE? This place needs HELP. BADLY.

EVERYONE knows that the ORIGINAL owners - AKA DOC - had a VERY nice set up. The environment was very enjoyable because they were kind to all their customers. They took the time to get to know you, remembered your name and were amazing people! The only sliver of a chance this place has is based off of that reputation they built because it was always busy, lively and welcoming... Locals frequented this bar, even if it was out of the way! People stayed here all day and night to hang out, drink and have fun! But since then, this place has changed hands multiple times and it looks like this place has changed owners AGAIN. The new owners are even worse than the last. Prices are way too high when you can go half a mile down the street and get the same products for half the price they're asking. That's just the first issue. It was bad before but now it's 10x worse when it comes to their horrible customer service. They are very rude and disrespectful - they need to learn you cant speak to people any kind of way and think it's okay... Especially if you want to stay in business. They have a sign posted on the front door of someone that apparently stole from them and they had arrested - calling him a loser. I guess this is their attempt at detering theft but in all reality it's detering clientele because it's extremely unprofessional and tacky... Not to mention it's also VERY illegal. Bug infested. Urinal has been out of order for MONTHS. Their "bar" area is very claustrophobic (as is the entire store) and it isn't even a bar. There's 3 bar stools and no one is ever sitting at them besides the workers. Very boring, stale...

Great customer service! This is hands down the best liquor store in the area! Their prices beat all the local competitors, and the customer service is top-notch. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile—whether it’s helping me find exactly what I need or even ordering special items if they don’t have them in stock.

The new management has completely turned this place around. It’s cleaner, more organized, and way better stocked than before. Compared to when it used to be a bar, it’s miles ahead in every way. I’ve seen some negative reviews, but honestly, they couldn’t be more wrong. This store is always improving, and it’s the only liquor store I shop at....

Hello, this is Bryon again! I stopped in Dhaka nannies to grab a beer on the way home. I have not been in there in multiple years. Thankfully they have not changed. Even though they are upfront on Ritchie Highway they still have the atmosphere of a neighborhood bar. Barmaids were there catering to my every need which in most bars they give you a beer and turn around and walk away until you get their intention. Prices were okay if you're looking for nightlife, karaoke, dancing this is not the bar. If you're looking for a neighborhood atmosphere I have a cold beer and good service this...
