Normally Glory Days in Eburg has been good. I didn't experience great customer service tonight, so when that happens, I always report it.
I ordered rcurb-side to go two orders Salmon platter and specifically said NO BUTTER on vegetables and mashed potatoes. When I got there they brought out the food, I checked it and there was a lot butter on both vegetables and mashed potatoes. I politely asked if they could replace with no butter (the young guy helping was VERY nice - he apologized and said I'll bring new side orders out within 3 minutes with no butter). It was very cold outside, and I didn't want the salmon to get cold, so said "sure, if you think it can be pretty quick, I'll wait"…..he went back inside came out about 5 minutes later and said "my manager wants me to bring your order back inside and then he will replace the sides"…….I said "I would rather not, I've already waiting a long time and don't want the salmon getting cold getting passed back and forth between car and restaurant (again - VERY cold outside)……he said "no problem, I'll be right back"….he went in…..came back out in about 2 minutes and said "my manager said no"…..
So on an order they messed up, the manager was not willing to make it right without taking the food (that I already paid for by the way) back and forth in the cold.
I asked the young guy (again he was trying to be helpful) for the manager's name….and it was "Dave".
Normally if that happened while I was dining in, I would be furious and demand a discount or threaten to call corporate, but I was in a hurry (and food was getting cold) so I let it go….and went home paying full price for an order they messed up and Dave (manager) didn't seem to care about pleasing a paying customer.
Again, normally our experiences are good, but don't let poor management treat you...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars I would. Service was horrible. The manager was the best part about this place. The waiter did not use a pad to write our food or drinks down. He did not even get the drinks correct when I repeated them twice for him 2 cokes and 2 Coke zero's we waited 15 minutes for our first refills. We started with appetizers and after ordering and receiving the wrong appetizer he said "OK so that's everything for you?" NO... it wasn't we told him we wanted to order food, so he used his phone to write our order down. after ordering he came out of the kitchen saying that the manager said that he could not make our order because it was almost closing time. We finally received food and it was all wrong the chilli looked like it had been scraped from the bottom of the barrel. My boyfriend ordered bone in wings and received grilled chicken, and my son ordered cheeseburger sliders off of the kids menu and received chicken tenders and we still had yet to get more drinks. The manager finally came out to find out what was happening and after I told him what was going on he said he never said anything about the kitchen closing and us not being able to get the food we originally ordered. He gave us coupons for the next time we come and took everything off the bill that we did not receive or was wrong. I may give the coupons to someone at my work because I don't think I would ever go back. I work in retail and I understand being tired and customers coming in close to closing time. With that said you don't ever treat customers like that. It already stressed me out that he wouldn't use a pad to write on, and after he pulled out his phone to write everything down and still got it wrong I was...
Read moreMy daughter's favorite restaurant, mostly due to the size of the kids menu and that there are quite a few sides, like fruit cup, applesauce, fries, veggies, and more.
Today we were seated right away and our server was great. Very attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure we were always happy.
We ordered the Slam Dunk Pretzels as an app, which includes 3 soft pretzel sticks with small bowls of stone ground mustard and cheese sauce. All four of us enjoyed them.
For dinner, we had a patty melt, pizza, big kids cheeseburger sliders, and chicken tenders. I was able to upgrade the patty melt with bison for an additional $3. The cheese and bacon onion marmalade were delicious!
My husband ordered a BBQ chicken pizza. He was then asked by our server if he would prefer Buffalo Chicken, which wasn't listed on the menu but was an option. He tried it and loved it. Tons of chicken and cheese, red onions, and sliced jalapenos.
I also ordered a Moscow mule. Delicious with a squeeze of lime! The kids both enjoyed a Shark Attack drink, which was a Sprite served with a plastic shark filled with grenadine. So cute!
My only complaint is, and usually is, the amount of time to get food on the table. The appetizer came out quickly, but the food always seems to take...
