Burger King — Restaurant in Maryland

This BK is close to home. Love the original chicken sandwich. On this particular evening I ordered 2 double cheeseburgers, 10 piece chicken nuggets with bbq sauce, 3 Hershey's pies (my weakness) and a large Coke with light ice. I get home (under 2 miles) and proceed to enjoy my BK meal. Both burgers were not hot, nor warm but cold. Had to microwave them. Less than a 2 mile drive home shouldn't have chilled them. The 10 piece nuggets only had 8 pieces and no dipping sauce. Really?! Went to put the Hershey's pies in the freezer, only received 2 instead of the 3 ordered. Now I'm angry. My drink was as requested. Large Coke with light ice. At least something was right. Tried to call the store to speak with the manager. The phone number was from the BK website and another review site. Called 4 times. Worse than a "no answer" was a fax tone. Allowed a few minutes between calls to allow for any pending transmissions. On the BK website is a contact us section. I filled out a form asking for location, date and time. Added the above scenario. Gave phone number and email when giving permission to be contacted. Never heard from BK at all. (Waited 11 days) Obviously BK cares nothing for it's customers. I will be giving my business to the other local fast food places from now on. I suggest avoiding this BK (Eldersburg). Other locations may be fine.

Update 2/19/2022

Had a coupon for a breakfast meal. Also, they offer 10 pound bag of ice for $1.99. That's cheaper than other local locations. I needed ice, so I go to BK for breakfast and ice. At the drive thru, I was politely greeted and placed my coupon order including the ice. The young lady taking my order was very friendly and pleasant. Was handed my order then the ice. Have bought ice here before. No issues. Was handed the bag of ice and at least 3/4 spilled onto me and all over the inside of my car. The bag was never tied closed. Was offered another bag. Seriously! Spent 10 minutes trying to remove all ice from my car, in seat tracks, under seats. All this in 32° weather. Not fun. Obviously, my breakfast was cold. I heated it up. The sandwich was mediocre at best. The hashbrowns tasted of old burnt used fry oil. The ice was the only thing that was "as it should be". My above review stands. Come on BK! With as many other fast food places nearby, I would think you would focus on quality to compel consumers your way....

There are many reasons why this BK isn't the best, and could do better! For one the dining room and kitchen look dirty and could use a thorough deep cleaning. Not sure how they pass inspection!

Lets talk about the food here: Food is sometimes cold and lacking condiments/toppings. I've definitely ordered a whopper before and they gave me nothing on it no toppings or condiments wow. Buns are stale sometimes. Fries are usually good but the employees serving them should be wearing gloves when working around food! I was shocked to see all burgers are microwaved. Service is fast but it doesn't matter when the food is served so poorly. Management is downright mean at this location.

Is it handicap friendly? Sort of, there is handicapped parking but then no button to open the door so if you're handicapped you need someone to help you open it. Handicap rails in the bathroom as well as handicap tables. They do offer a Senior citizen discount for 10% off your order. The parking lot can be a little hectic at this location so be careful. You might want to use the drive through.

Kid friendly? Yes, there are kids meals and crowns for kids. Rated atmosphere at 3 stars because there is plenty of seating but too many TVs around all with random things no one wants to watch playing.

Vegetarian options? Yes but sort of because the impossible whoppers are cooked on the same griddle as the meat so your impossible whopper contains beef fat, so not true vegetarian!

Healthy dining options? NO! Don't expect anything healthy on the menu. No side salads, fruit cups or anything like that. You can request no salt on the fries.

Food price? Cheap! This BK does mail out coupons and is probably one of the cheapest places to eat in eldersburg so it has that going for it.

In conclusion this BK is OK for a quick bite to eat if you want fast food it really is fast lol. I hope this...

DO NOT EAT THERE! I wish I could give "0" star!!! I went there to get 2 whoppers, 2x8pc of nuggets and 1 large fries. When I was about to eat the nuggets there was 1 piece that had a bite. So I went back and talked to a manager (Ty P.) Who was very rude and didn't know how to talk to a customer politely. He told me that he watched and trained a cook in the back so he knew nobody had a bite. "It was apart naturally." He said. But I explained that it was a human bite. If it got apart while being cooked or after still it should have been yellowish meat not clear white meat. He said "The chicken meat is white!" Then he went back and cursed. I got my money back for the chicken nuggets. And I got the phone number of the office number, of course it went straight to a voice mail box. This Burger King needs to educate the manager on the floor FIRST. He needs to learn how to listen to customers instead of trying to show up in front of his own crew there. This is why everyone goes to Chick fil-a for better customer service...
