The brand has frozen products in the market and I am going to say this is what they use at their stores. At least for the chicken and beef patties, I am sure. They taste like they were frozen and can tell by how they cook. The shrimp and soya patties come out looking completely different because they are cooked to order. And they are very good. The inside of the store is very clean and organized. I wouldnt go as far as saying these ladies are rude. The woman at the counter said hello to everyone who walked into the store when I was there and I ate my food there. About a 20 minute period on a early Friday evening so there were plenty of people coming in. I got my order in a timely manner and the lady even gave my son a pineapple soda which I thought was very nice. Did she have a big, fake goofy smile on her face? No. If you need that to feel better about yourself then you have a whole lot more to worry about other than this restaurant's cuisine. There is a difference of culture. I've been to plenty of Chinese restaurants where the staff is far less accommodating and wouldnt address you if you were on fire and no one bothers to bring up their culture, skin tone, or business practices. Read moreI don't care to visit Caribbean food spots. Because most of the time the customer service is horrible! Today I had my second visit here to get some spice bun. I grabbed A large one and went to the counter to ring it up. There was an older lady at the register she rang up the spice bun. My son was there so I was a little distracted. He was having a conversation with his grandmother on the phone. I proceeded to swipe my debit card. The machine read the card and told me to enter the card number. I said to her I must have hit something wrong. She said swipe your card again. I swiped my card two more times. By this time my Mom wanted 2 large spice buns. But she asked about freezing to Preserve freshness. I then asked the lady at the register, "Is it okay to freeze"? In A nasty mean tone,"She asked me what type of card do I have"? I told her and flipped the card around and said, "it's just a normal debit card"! Then without her knowing I canceled the transaction and proceeded to re-swipe my card. It worked I felt relieved and was ready to go. they missed out on a $25 sale all because this Mean/rude older woman did not have more patience with me.
