Goodies Carryout — Restaurant in Maryland

So first of all I'll be honest most of what I've had from them I've liked, BUT I don't like people playing with my money and because this has happened to me twice I felt it's best I warn folks to be cautious of this restaurant. FYI I've bin a customer of theirs from July 2013.

Now a month ago I ordered from them and the delivery guy hands me the receipt slip to sign and so this time he handed me the entire slip. The actual order receipt with the items I purchased on it the tax & gas cost and total. Now So I looked down and notice they scribbled out the total and wrote their own amount on it. So I'm like hmm let me calculate this up because that's weird. After doing so, the total amount they wrote was incorrect and a $1 and some change over. So I signed off on the amount NO tip because the transaction was shady! In addition to that the delivery guy shoved my food in my hand after seeing I didn't tip him anything. Such a rude ass. I call there spoke to a child who then called the manager.. They apologize for over charging me and was like they will put it in the system to credit my next purchase. So ok the next time we ordered I was busy dealing with my infant so my husband ordered when they came I didn't check the receipt and I asked my husband hey did you make sure remind them of the credit he said no. So I was like she said it would be in the system. I'm thinking it would probably automatically do it. That wasn't the case!! So today we ordered they still didn't add the credit but when the delivery guy came I answered the door and noticed the receipt again had the print out amount crossed out and there was a written amount. I then calculated the amount plus tax and gas fee and notice once AGAIN they over charged me this time a $1. So I called them with the delivery guy waiting. He's trying to tell me maybe it's the gas fee I'm like it's NOT the gas fee was already included in the amount.. So the young lady answer and go um ah we'll take it off your next purchase. I'm like NO you guys did this last time, Lord knows how many times you've done this to me and other customers who pay over the phone with a credit card. See you would never even know they do this because like I said before the delivery guy usually rips off the credit card receipt off the order receipt so we've never gotten that or able to look at it. But these last two delivery guys handed me the whole thing and when I looked down I notice the amounts crossed out. This stealing from customers despite the small amount is still wrong. So be very careful of ordering over the phone with your credit cards. When they come to deliver ask to see the print out receipt of your order because like I said this wasn't the 1st time they did it to me and i'm pretty sure this is a regular thing for them!!

They just lost a faithful customer who orders at least once a month from them! I can't stand dishonest business owners.. They were so carefree about it and the young lady hung up on me!! Customer Service and professionalism will take a business very far.. I hope they read this and know that saying sorry and crediting a future purchase just lost a them...

ordered the PU PU platter-food tasted stale and dry and old-previously frozen for a while and left out-shrimp toast was nasty-no other way to say it. I can cook and am picky about where I eat, but thought I would try take out based on reviews(I don't eat fast food) big mistake.The fried shrimp was dried up overcooked piece of shrimp in a ton of doughy bread "pita pocket" The pork and vegetables were completely tasteless. I had two other entrees no better. All the sauces tasted the same. All their food I believe comes out of frozen pre-cooked plastic bags that are heated up in microwave and served. If you want food cooked to order and not frozen go to YO YOs in the area. It is much better, though not as god as it used to be and the servings are smaller, but some of the entrees there are delicious and the food is edible and fresh. I will never order from...

So the food is ok. The sweet tea is super sugary but tastes good when we add water to it. The delivery driver, however, is so terribly rude. And really drops the entire experience for me. I don't know what his problem is. He's been less than pleasant before. This time, he didn't believe my little brother ordered the food (even with the food already paid for and the fact that WE live at OUR house) and wouldn't give it to him until I came to the door. My brother didn't tip because the man was so mean to him. Then, the driver let the bag swing around by one handle and jostle the food before handing it to me or really letting me catch-up the handles. While handing over the receipt, he let it fall to the ground, looked at it, and walked away. How can someone be so...
