It was a cookie cutter McDonald's with very poor staff. I went through the drive-thru. Had to wait an inordinate amount of time at the speaker to place my order. The driver cleared off the cars ahead of me while waiting. I got to the window where you normally pay and no one was there. I waited there until the drive was completely clear and pulled up to the serving window. I held the money out to pay and the boy not paying attention started handing my drinks or and almost knocked the money out of my hand. He said, "What's that? Didn't you party where you were supposed to? You gotta pay at the other window." I pointed out that as slow as they are a line of cars prevented me from returning to the window that was installed. As he took the money $20 + change for a $10 + change order, he said, "Damn, can't you do it right?" Being thirsty and having given them almost double the cost of the order, I asked for the drinks here HAD started handing out, He refused to give the drinks until somebody came, too the money back to the other station and came back with the change. THEN he handed the drinks out quickly followed by the bag of food, almost dropping it on the ground. ALL OF THIS WENT ON UNDER THE WATCHFUL EYE OF THE WOMAN MANAGER WHO WAS STANDING ABOUT 8-10 FEET AWAY. The ONLY thing she did was, when I said about the pitiful service loud enough to be heard, she did take the time to GLARE AT ME and then came to the window to watch as I drive away. I go to McDonald's here in Eldersburg every few months to see if it is any better. I find most every trip here, shows me that they set the bar low and proceed to do everything they can to...
Read moreAbsolute garbage across the board. Any reviews that say otherwise are lying. Never again will I go to this McDonald's.
The food is never ever ready when you pull up to the window. So, they tell you to go wait in a parking spot. Tonight the staff wouldn't bring our food to the car because it was raining (It's not my fault that you sent us to wait in a parking spot). I went inside after waiting 10 minutes for our food. $40 in food was sitting on the counter. No apology, no greeting, no one even acknowledged me. When I asked if I could take the food the MANAGER shrugged his shoulders.
If there had been a problem, there wouldn't be anyone to take it up with anyway as no one speaks English. And the staff has never been trained on how to interact with customers. And no employees care about their job or have any pride in their work.
On top of all of this, I watched TWO elderly customers slip on their tile floor because the staff didn't put out the "piso mojado" sign, nor did they mop up the water. As a result the wet tile floor was more dangerous than Diddy.
Cherry on top? Not for my niece. I purchased a mango smoothie for her, but it was only filled 3/4 of the way.
Customers giving this location 5 stars need to raise their standards slightly higher. If you pay that much for a sack meal, you ARE entitled to fast, professional service, certain level of hospitality, and at least average food quality.
Makes sense why your quarterly earnings reports missed their target in Q3. Can't wait for a lovely red head named Wendy to come to town in...
Read moreIf your looking for a walk in job hire, come here. Very clear if you have a pulse you are almost over qualified to work here, if you are looking somewhere clean, quick, cheap, and friendly people that work this is 100,000% the wrong place. This has to be one of the worst McDonald’s ive ever been to in my existence the one in Reisterstown makes this place look like garbage and even that one has its issues, but at least their employees dont seem like theyre still in middle school. When you have kids laughing in your face because of your frustration of the unprofessionalism, it no longer becomes the employees that are the issue, it is the management. A lack of control, and a lack of interest. I pray this corporation does not waste 15$ an hour on anyone within this restaurant, they literally have a guy that walks around “cleaning” (practically just paces around and walks in circles slow as can be) and he looks so high to the point he might think he works at Wendy's. I have worked at so many places, have a good work ethic, and it becomes tiring to see huge companies fall apart. This has to be the saddest excuse of a McDonald’s within Maryland, do your self a favor, DO NOT COME HERE. Your family, your money, and your time is worth so much more, if your reading this you clearly deserve to go somewhere to eat that will be a good environment. As a matter of fact go to burger king, i interviewed there one time and the manager told me they are rated one of best...
