First part of the review is going to be for The McDonald’s app 0/5 Second part of the review is going to be for the location 0/5 Here’s the situation: I Placed my order at 10:23 AM for breakfast on the McDonald’s app. Which I did get charged after placing the order. I was parked outside of the restaurant while placing my order and since I figured it would not be ready right then and there I decided to go across the street to fill my car up with gas than would come right back to pick the food up. There was a slight line at the gas station, but after I got finished paying and filling up, I ended up getting there a little after 10:30am. I went into the store, showed them my number and since It was a little past 10:30 AM. They canceled my order due to them stop selling breakfast at 10:30 AM. The McDonald’s app: they should have never charged me at 10:23 in the morning if they weren’t gonna start preparing the order right after paying if this was the case upon pick up is when they should charge you or right after you get your meal so for anyone else placing on the app, just know you will Be charged in your order will not get started until you come into the restaurant which is a stupid way of doing this. As if I were to go into the store, they would charge me, but they would make my order. Why would you charge someone and not make their order it’s contradicting. The McDonald’s location (bel pre): I spoke to the lady at the front of the check out area. She told me to go back onto the app and to cancel My order as when I went back onto the app there was no cancel Button So I asked to speak to a manager and the manager then told me that I would receive my money tomorrow 24hours. So, now I’m down $10 and I have no breakfast I said why can’t you just refund me with the receipt I have on my phone they said you have to call the 1-800 number. After calling the 1-800# They proceeded to tell me that I would have to fill out a complaint form over the phone with them, but I would not receive a refund until someone after the complaint has submitted would call me So why aren’t the McDonald’s restaurants and their corporate on the same page with this issue? Why did they tell me 24 hours and then the Customer Service tells me they cannot give me a date and time after the complaint is submitted but that someone would reach out to me. Final Verdict: Don’t waste your time on downloading the app finding and customizing your meal and purchasing from the app as your order is not Guaranteed. If you do just know Your time & money will be wasted and horrible customer service will be provided by the workers. I will proceed to cancel the app and never use it again cause it’s a waste of time and most likely will not be coming back to this place ever again because of the incompetents Of a store manager, who you would think would be very knowledgeable of issues like this because I’m sure this is not the first time it’s happened, but doesn’t even really know their own policies and procedures of how this works. They will lie to you in your face and you’ll be stuck, begging for your money back and not ever...
Read moreI AM NOT IN SPANISH HARLEM, I CHOSE MC DONALD'S, WHICH IS AN AMERICAN ESTABLISHMENT !!!!!!! I waited over 20 min for my order because they messed it up. Everyone is speaking Spanish, which I don't mind, when & if you're amongst each other, only !!!!!! Otherwise, when you are in the service industry, serving ppl that speak English, that is the dialect you must use. Especially, that you're preparing someone's food !!!! You can do or say anything, without being corrected, because you're speaking a language you feel others don't understand. I "NEVER " have an issue with this when dining @ "Chick Fila". I don't know whose bilingual, nor do I care. I'm more interested about their standards & practices !!!!! They carry themselves pleasing to all types of ppl & cultures. They're joking around, playing, and kidding around so much; even with management standing right there, at Mc donald's, that drinks are being split all over the place, customers are waiting for their orders to be taken, and then they have to remake items, just because of this 'blase' attitude & demeanor here @ this Mc donald's & truth-be-told, many, many of their other chain of restaurants. As, they're not willing to correct one another, so the "bad" behavior & insensitivity continues. This is extremely concerning as a customer !!!!!!!
AND........... you wonder why there's so much division & exclusion. STOP acting like you're NOT apart of the melting - pot, and learn the very simple ways of achieving great customer service, then perhaps your ratings won't be so...
Read morei don’t get what happened here, they used to be so good, the food was amazing, until this morning. i ordered a number 8 which is the bacon (keep bacon in mind) egg and cheese bagel, i usually order that when i would go in the mornings and before today they were amazing, i did not expect what i got, why name it bacon egg cheese bagel if it doesn’t even have bacon? the bagel did not have bacon, instead there was some weird meat, i think it was supposed to be a sausage? i took a bite of it and threw it out, there is now way that thing is even edible. the egg and cheese were alright but i also don’t get why they put onions in it? i mean if they didn’t have bacon they could have at least told me so i could have ordered something else. what a disappointment, they...
